I notice MM using the word "should" rather than "must" for all these restrictions.

    That's just being pedantic.

Should: to express obligation, propriety, or expediency.

Hairdressers still allowed open it seems.

If they shut hairdressers they might drive people out to other counties.

    Progress.

Not going far enough I'm afraid. Half arsed.

What did you want, a nationwide lockdown

Leo's addresses were better, to be fair.

Our Taoiseach progression is like the reverse of that time Catholics went from the evil looking pope to the friendly Argentinian one.
He's not good at this anyway. Give him a bloody debate in the trenches and he's your man.

They're very light restrictions I think. Most people in those counties won't be affected at all.

I hate to say it and hope I'm wrong but this isn't enough.

We've proven we can't contain resurgence and although a huge amount of these cases have come about from clusters, they're out there now and it'll only be a few weeks until we see cases up 200-300 a day unless they get their finger out.

You can’t beat a John Hume quote.

MM must be crapping himself now, came in when cases were very low and all looking good now the sh*t has hit the fan and he hasn't got a notion

Tough spot for him in fairness. Literally can't win due to the mistakes before him. Think the fact Leo a few months ago was saying we shouldn't make masks mandatory and the overall 4 stage plan (or lack of really) proves he hadn't a notion either.

Plenty of problems with the new government but I am at least appreciating their ability to be proactive and make the hard decisions knowing well they'll be unpopular for it. Not opening pubs and locking down counties today are the right moves and will be viewed as such when looking back over time.

How is Lord of The Rings or a poem from Seamus Heaney a brain dead teen reference?

I don't get why people got so bother by those things, he was just trying to make things more relatable

And to call him a creep? Seriously?

This issue will not be resolved until we have full flight and travel bans against a good number of countries.

Banging that drum over and over but the virus is in the community. There's hardly anybody coming into the country.

He also referenced “Mean Girls” - a teen movie - for a dare issued to him on 2 fm

This during the worst of the crisis with hundreds dead

Google it if you are unaware. It will change how you see this clown.

He was laughing and sniggering during the speeches.

    One word - despicable.

LV is a creep, for many reasons.

Why were their clusters in these factories?

Someone working there caught it elsewhere and gave it to everyone else.
