A visor is great I agree but only if paired with a mask.

I'm not changing my mind because anyone saying a visor is a good substitute for a mask is still wrong.

It’s a good substitute for a sub par mask which a lot of people have

If you're that bad maybe don't go out. If your asthma is that severe then covid would be a nightmare or life threatening.

I've asthma and a mask makes virtually no difference to my breathing.

If you have an appointment that you must attend you don't have a choice.

Covid is life threatening for some. That's what all the fuss is about

Covid-19 is much more dangerous than the common flu; it's a novel disease, that nobody had any experience of prior to this year. More precautions make sense for this, due to the higher rate of death and serious complications.

However, it'd be no bad thing if people who think they have the flu in future (voluntarily) wore masks. Why would it be?

Wear a mask if it makes you feel better. I'm not trying to stop people wearing masks but you are trying to enforce your paranoia on me by mandating that I wear a face mask against my will.

Covid was a novel disease but we now know that this is not the killer disease it was made out to be. The overwhelming majority of people will have minor symptoms and will recover from this disease just like the seasonal flu.

I don't live in Ireland currently, I'm not paranoid, and I'm not trying to "force" anything on you.

Covid-19 is more deadly than the seasonal flu. I've just watched a lengthy interview with Anthony Fauci where he talked about how much they still need to learn about this disease. Do you know more than Dr. Fauci?

If people are that pissed off about people not wearing masks and feel threathened by it. Stay at home simple

I know your posts aren't really great quality but take a bit more care. Yes the majority will recover. It's not just like the seasonal flu though.
Seasonal flu has a 0.1% death rate. Covid has 2.3%
I know those numbers both seem small to you as comprehension doesn't seem to be a strong point.

And we have a vaccine for the flu.

It really just seems that asking some people to do anything at all to help protect their fellow citizens is too much of an imposition. They're proud of their selfishness.

Do you know more than the doctors disagree with Fauci because there are many?

Why is it that young people in Ireland are bending over backwards to insert themselves in U.S. politics. Unbelievable how young Irish have latched onto what is going on over there. Concentrate on what is going on here and the reality around you, drop the fake American accent that the Irish people have adopted, stop living in fear and wearing a mask because you might have a virus even though you have no symptoms and feel fine.

There are zero deaths in Ireland from COVID, very few cases, the vast majority of people recover and no ICU cases. Get on with your life stop living in fear over a virus you "might" have and most of all stop trying to enforce your political hang ups on me!

I happened to be watching an interview with Fauci (and Sanjay Gupta) as I made that post. And as I said, I don't currently live in Ireland.

    Your post is pure nonsense.

Paranoia would be the smallest problem judging by your posts. Well I'm not staying home either, few selfish clowns won't stop me going out for sure.

There has been 1763 deaths in Ireland due to covid.

How many of those had no underlying conditions?

    Paradox of tolerance applies.

Society needs to get very intolerant of those who put it at risk.

Not really because you cannot say face masks reduce cases and when people start wearing masks the number of cases increase, then the number of cases fall and same people will say that's because of mandatory face masks so which it because you can't have it both ways? It just proves that face masks are an ineffective measure because you can catch the virus anyway unless you stay inside and don't leave your house.

More people are wearing face masks and the number of cases increases therefore there is no direct correlation btw face masks and a decrease in the number of cases.

So is washing your hands pointless too? Just how far do you want to take this logical fallacy? Because cases have gone up even though everyone uses hand sanitizer and washes their hands. Is this entire field of medicine just a sham?

So what's your point? They deserved to die? They were gonna die anyway?

Do the statistics on excess deaths in Ireland for this year support that?

Stands to reason. Masks are used to stop droplets getting out. A paper bag is less porous than a cloth mask.

    Insufficient. Prove it.

Last time I checked washing your hands or using hand sanitiser wasn't a requirement but wearing a mask is or at least for those with a warped view of reality

    The government has mandated them.

Leave the country if you are so bothered by them.

Make sure to pick from the list of countries that dont have similar laws or legislation on the books. That list is getting smaller.

No masks in Sweden and society has not collapsed like some suggested it would. If no masks is good enough for Sweden then it should be good enough for Ireland.

If you don't like the rules of the country go into politics and change them or live somewhere else.

Because nobody has to be told to wash their hands and most of not all employers, even yours, require you to wash your hands. There isn’t a range of covidiots out there saying (fortunately) that washing your hands does nothing. They’re washing their hands, so leaders fortunately have not had to step in.

But you continue to refuse to wear a mask to protect others. You’ve said categorically earlier in this thread you don’t care about infecting other people. So the leadership should need to step in if selfish people like you will hide behind “it’s not the rules” so you can continue to endanger others.
