I know Ryanair's motivation is profit, but doesn't matter, it seems that no one is capable of holding the government accountable and demanding that they do a more cohesive job, so if anything prods them into making more firm and coherent decisions, I am all for it. And if not, I hope they indeed get sued down to the ground.

'They" are us. **** Ryanair, I'm sure they profited enough on interest or short term nvestments using millions in peoples fares they're not refunding.

It's our pockets and social systems that Ryanair are trying to pick pocket.

Good. Great. I never thought I would say this, but I am 100% in support of Ryanair and although unlikely, I hope they sue and bankrupt the living hell of these bunch of clowns.
    .....

Hope they ruin the government down to the ground.

FFS, it's the state, us, you and I, from which they want their money from.

I’ve sat my arse on a Ryanair flight for the very last time in my life I can assure them of that.

I agree but we'd all want to be hoping that our government support Aer Lingus until as long as it takes.

You hope a private company whose soul motivation is profit gets to dictate public health policy during a once in a generation deadly pandemic?

    I don't.

Think they don’t get the concept that government are OUR elected representatives.

Ryanair’s action is effectively against every man woman’s and child in the state.

If they win we have to pay.
On top of having paid their employee wages.
On top of giving them loans to stay a afloat. They took 600 million under similar circumstances.
On top of not rightfully refunding anyone.

They are a pox who spread a pox and now they are throwing their toys out of the pram.

Why Aer Lingus, public company fully owned by British Airways.

The government hasn't even been close to strict enough about travel and you're backing Ryanair?

If they had used sound and fair reasoning and banned all travel (not just out but also in) and made decisions they stood behind, that would be world's better - even though obviously that would ruin the airlines further.

What I want punished is the purposeful confusion and thinking they can get away with it.

It's not, they're all under the umbrella of IAG, International Airline Group, Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia and a couple of others lesser known here.

You know Leo and Michael won't be personally libel if they actually do end up suing for loss of income or whatever? You and me will have to pay it.

I'll put to you this way, Public Health have decided on a green list because of similar instances of the virus in other countries.

Ryanair want that Green list composed of routes that make them the most profit.

Governments are decided by the majority, and unfortunately we all pay for the votes of the majority. That is how democracies work. The majority of voters decided to vote for either FF or FG, and these are the fruits of that choice.

Well if no one wants to fly Ryanair..we have to have some sort of airline operating out of Ireland.

When all this is over there will be no shortage of cheap airplanes for Michael O'Leary Part II to setup in the country.

Maybe with a focus on less aggression and bullying.

Sorry that you interpreted me as being smart but I wasn’t. I’ll be more thoughtful to your gentle soul in future replies.

So their is a time set everyday? I didn’t think so as it’s generally anytime between 5:15 - 6:15, hence my previous reply to you.

It would be funny to present the case results like GAA results for each county. :)
