If (and a big if) he is just a patsy they couldn't have found a more suited person who has means and motive along with a history

    On the subject of patsy.

Why would German investigators want to pin a missing British girl in Portugal on CB if he did not do it.

Would love to hear the conspiracy theorists reasons for that?

Express reporting that officers are fighting back tears searching the site. devastating stuff.

Tbf disregard anything in the daily mail or the express. Click bait stuff with little substance.

Yes, it could be anything when you look at the photo (taken from behind a bush) - probably hayfever or a hair flew into her eye, or she just had an itch.

    https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/1315864/madeleine-mccann-search-latest-germany-police-hanover-hannover-allotment-maddie-mccann

    Any excuse to be sensationalist.

All the papers mentioning a found cellar that I've been able to find are tabloids. One had the headline that it had been found, and then went on to say they were looking for one.

Until its breaking news on Sky News, I won't be holding my breath.

Basements are very common on the continent.

That’s my thinking behind that one, so could of been done without batting an eyelid. Sinister when you see the reports of his ideas into the future.

Here’s where I seen the story earlier ... they reckon it’s an old world war 2 tunnel

Are basements common in the middle of allotments?

I dunno I’m not an expert on basements and allotments.

The Germans take their allotments very seriously. I used to live over their and you would see some meticulously kept spaces of every description, especially travelling by train. Wouldn't surprise me if cellars were common on allotments, although what they'd be used for I don't know.

Well it's ramping up now. If the little child is in there somewhere god rest her. But I have my doubts. It is not easy to say you hope she's not there, because what is the alternative?

These things take time. But to be fair the Germans have given a lot of information about the dig in the allottment.

We might find out soon enough.

(Doesn't absolve the parents from leaving her alone though, had to say that to be consistent you understand).

Not to say he's been made a patsy

but if he was, why would it be the Germans have to be the ones "setting him up"

If someone sets me up and the Irish guardai find the "evidence" it's not specifically the Irish gaurdai who set me up. They're just the ones that caught me.

Again its to unbelievable to say CB is patsy.

The real culprit would not have to frame anyone because they left no evidence. If you committed a crime and left no trace. Why would you frame anyone else , there is no need. In fact you are increasing your likelihood of being caught by framing someone because you could leave evidence of framing them. just to much conspiracy sh**e going on saying CB is a patsy.

Now to go through the evidence collected, phase one of the search seems to be done. It was predicted that it would end this evening in terms of searching the area.

Sky News just confirmed the hidden cellar story.

Whatever else they do, and with their very last breathS, there is a small cohort of obsessiveS who will keep stabbing Kate McCann with their little social media pitch forks, because she made a mistake 13 years ago and she’s suffered horrifically for it, but for these small few she hasn’t suffered enough and must be tortured until the very end.
And even today, which must be unbearably stressful for them, they feel the overwhelming need to get those little stabs in. It’s like watching a small wicked child pulling the wings off a butterfly.

Hidden cellar story Sky News headlines including a picture of missing Maddie, but still there's no proof or connection between anything. Let's not jump to conclusions just because Sky News has planted the thought in your heads.

This might well be another rabbit hole.....

The poster was just trying to establish that a cellar was actually found.. no conclusions were being jumped to

There’s something wrong with these ppl not to see the humanity of it, IBT has my suspicions of the Mc Canns but if it’s proven it wasn’t them then it changes everything. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but have some morality when the facts are there to prove either way and humility that a little girl is the victim in all of this not us, the media or anyone else. The parents if proven not to be involved will have paid the ultimate price. No parent should have to go through this and I think of all the parents who’ve lost children who have never found them.

Every news station in the world have confirmed the cellar. No one is jumping to any conclusions. The fact that a paedophile rapist now being linked to a number of missing children including the most famous one had a hidden cellar is big news. Stop trying to downplay it.

It’s all getting a bit ominous now.

I’m honestly not sure I want to know what if anything the investigators have found. I can only hope they have what they need to put this monster away for the rest of his life.

Federal police and prosecutors were at the scene over the last 3 days that in itself is significant. As reported by Sky News yesterday. https://youtu.be/fZ_bDot_5bc. Sky news still calling in Christian B, that’s interesting.

Your totally wrong. That’s not an opinion. It’s fact. The McCanns dont have to prove their innocence. They enjoy, or are supposed to enjoy, the presumption of innocence. That’s one of the cornerstones of our precious democracy and I’ll defend it to the death. Can you explain your “morality” statement as it’s not making sense to me. How am I being immoral?
And no, Madeleine is the victim but so are her parents and her twin siblings. Her parents had their little child stolen on them and have suffered horrendously ever since on at least 2 fronts.
They have had to live without their precious child. They have to live with the torment which is never ending. They have had to live with the torture of being the object of non stop vicious cowardly creepy bullies day in and day out for over 13 years. You can check it out right now across the social media it continues today non stop as bad as ever.
The twins have had to live without their sister. They’ve had to live with destroyed parents. They have to read all the wickedness about their family online. How can you say they’re not victims?

I’m not talking about your morality if you read it correctly. Where did I say they aren’t victims? Stop putting words I haven’t said into your reply please, thanks.

The parents are still the only ppl known to have seen Madeleine alive last, you have no evidence to the contrary and if you do please share it because you can’t say I’m totally wrong otherwise. They need to turn off online because of the vile hatred that’ll never ever change.

This is Germany. So my thinking is there are many many basements and bunkers etc. around from world war 2.

Wether the basement being searched is relatively new or not..I don't know.
But I don't think a random basement ..or underground bunker would be strange to find anywhere in Germany.

It’s known that the chief prosecutor isn’t one to just say all the things he has said about Concrete Evidence of her being dead, they say he’s respected and his reputation isn’t for someone who speaks wildly or would say these things loosely.

If her body is found I wonder if the people who couldn't wait to rush onto every thread about the case to publicly imply the parents had something to do with it will be as quick to rush on and publicly apologise to them.

I was one of these people. I have to admit, I was 100% convinced the parents did it.
For a number of reasons ( dogs, behaviour of parents, etc ) I really did believe they were involved.

If this recent development uncovers that CB did indeed do it then I would come on here and admit I was very wrong.

I at one stage, years ago, also thought the parents were involved. I never intended any malice towards them. I mean, it was hard not to think it was even slightly possible with all the media and PJ pointing the finger at them.

I hold my hand up and also say I was wrong in thinking so.

Not everyone who had a passing thought or believed at one stage that the parents may have had some involvement are horrible people with a mental Illness as some people here say. (Splinter to name one)

I still don't know what happened though. But this CB lead seems promising. I just hope the parents can get some closure at last.
