Who was it that tried to kill RR last year when he hid in his bathroom? Hardly payback for Jordan Davis was it?

Can PH jnr/others be tried again for the Regency under Irish laws or is it a case of once you get off with it that’s it done for good like in some other countries?

Probably. BF seems to be RR's mate and he's always ranting about the N's. Hard to know whats going out in that area. They were all friends at some stage

This one has always confused me as well. Strange how they would go through that trouble over a comment but yet were never successful in getting cs.

I'm fascinated by this idea that if say my son or nephew lost €250K of a shipment that his people would feel it ok to come after me for the debt if they knew I had my own house/car etc.

Is this a uniquely Irish thing? I'm thinking of something like The Wire where it never seemed to be a concept - if Avons crew had a setback I don't recall them ever deciding they could go after relatives to make it good. It was just taken on the chin as being part of the business.

Well one of them is real life, and the other is T.V.

to be fair, the Wire was considered by many including US cops to be the most accurate portrait of gangland and organised crime at the time.

    Really?

Think 15 is fair considering lads getting less for conspiracy to murder.

he was a few inches away from killing a garda. he had a live hand grenade. he was firing a machine gun in the middle of the street.

All things that are serious of course.

Average murderer serves 22 years in this country, this wasn't murder and sentence should reflect that.
