Am up on top of hill in North kildare with uninterrupted views right down to the Wicklow mountains and am viewing just east of south. After 5 long minutes, I finally saw a distance flash!

The returns from the isle of man, wow. Just wow. Looks like the end of days. Hope they are enjoying it, with no serious damage.
Tempted to go take a drive and see what's coming up along the east coast.

Just saw that on MET.ie Radar. Holy Fook !!!

That could have been the East Coast if it was 50 miles west.

Ah here , was expecting a bit more action than this. Next 2 hrs crucial back edge of cloud and will hopefully get a bit lumpy soon as it pushes north

    Sferic detected near Waterford city.

Looks like there's another train about to start to the west of the current Pembrokeshire - Wexford/Wicklow one.

The sferic in Waterford looks to be the start of that one.

A nice show for about 20 mins on the Wexford coast.

The isle of man storm was at its most intense an hour ago, looks to have petered out a bit now, it was very intense though when it was really firing. Unfortunately the intensity of the storms floating up from waterford northwards are nothing special, kind of thing you would see a night here and there in any given summer. So it would seem to me that anything that will deliver will come in very early hours of the morning. It wouldnt appear that anything crazy is on the cards in next few hours, but who knows. Might be thunder in dublin around 3am maybe, a few odd flashes before that I see one or two in wicklow.

Not a sausage in my part of Dublin 24. Just a nice warm and fairly humid evening.

So far for us it's the biggest let down since Game of Thrones Season 8.

You couldn't have asked for better timing.

Am I missing something? This yellow level warning for the entire country looks a bit silly. I doubt most counties will see any sort of action let alone anything warranting a warning.
