A few drops falling here now in D24. Sitting out the garden with a cold beer waiting on a show...

Still 20c here and 85% humidity, and me thinking I'll mow the lawn later when its cooler.

If only we could put a few floats and an engine under Ireland and move it around a bit.

Gotten noticeably darker here, rain starting, breeze picked up. Nice even just for the cooling factor!

Sitting out the back garden in D24 too, was convinced I had a few bottles in the fridge, having a cup of tea :(

Just heard a long rumble to my east here...but it was this.

That could be the peak of your weather watching night right there. A few drops of rain on the path looks like all we're going to get here in louth.

I've heard a few of those too, probably the only rumbles we'll get to hear tonight. Not sure i'm going to do the all nighter at this stage.

unfortunately that's far too late for a lot of people, 8pm to 12am would have been ideal.

Zeus nor Thor don't give a dam about the time. :)

I wish it was earlier though.

Can see the big fat hard edged top of the storm near the Isle of Man all the way from here (I'm in Ballinderry, Co.Antrim - near Lough Neagh). It's brightly lit up with sunlight right now

MEGA - Make Éire Great Again

This happens to me all the time during thundery weather because the airport's flight path is about 1.0 - 1.5km south of my house.

No more departures until 1:30 am.

Jealous of the Isle of Man right now. Seem to be just starting into a light show, early enough not to miss but dusky enough to enjoy it.

Large pink coloured cloud amongst darker ones

Pretty much solid cloud in Waterford now with patches of dark clouds mixed in. Any bit of breeze we had earlier is gone, just dead air.
