    I was told it was unlocked but it's a Meteor dongle anyway.     Can you access the dongle, turn on wifi on your mobile and type 192.168.1.1, this is usually the ip address for a modem, you should be able to check if it's automatically selected the Gomo network, can't remember at present what that is by the way.

    Yea, we're having a similar issue, North Co. Cork area. Connection has been slower than usual for the past week actually.

    Besides plugging it into my laptop, putting the sim in, and inputting the unlock code, there's nothing else I can do with it to get more info currently. I did all that and tried the ip address from my mobile with wifi on but just get 'site can not be reached'.

    I don't mind low speeds, any speed would be something. It's a Huawei e173 but I'll have a look around that site anyways, thanks.

    edit-theres no space on the dongle, so not sure how to install a driver on it or what folder to put it in

    Try the drivers from here.

    The driver gets install on the laptop, not on the dongle itself.

    Accessing 192.168.1.1 needs to be via a browser on the laptop that the dongle is plugged into...AFAIK the E180 does not have wireless chip so it will only give connection via USB

    Thanks, installed this then got a prompt to enter an APN and its working now, very slow but working nonetheless.

    Does anyone know what I can do here.

    My cousin signed my Granny up to gomo with an email that no one has access to. No one had access to the password eitheir. My Granny has the Sim, but needs to activate the account through email before she can continue using it?

    Any suggestions?

    Is it a Gmail account, can you go to the email providers website and request forgotten password, is it linked to her mobile number.

    It's her daughters email, which apparently she doesn't have access to. Its such a mess.

    They do not have phone support.

    Hi, I'm thinking of moving to Gomo from Three.

    Do I need to Port my number when ordering the Sim or can I port after the Sim arrives.

    Im concerned that if I port when ordering I could get stuck in limbo if there is a delay in porting.

    I'm also concerned about their customer service. How good or bad is it?

    I'd wait to receive the sim before porting. As for customer service, I've heard it's bad, but I've never had to use it. Once you have your phone set up, it should be fairly solid.

    Wait till you get the SIM..then verify that the SIM you got matches the SIM details in your GoMo account.
    Make sure the GoMo sim works in your phone before porting.
    Make sure you arrange a port for a weekday morning if possible.
    That's about all you can do to ensure a smooth port.
