    Picked this up this morning

    50015840421_9fe1812775_z.jpg

Its a long wheel base 730d. Spec is only ok, rear iDrive, rear blinds, heated seats front and back and - curiously - night vision. The main thing I am missing are comfort seats, which really transform an E65/66. Miles are relatively high at 220k but it drives sweet. Glides along on the small wheel/big tyre combo too. Its an original Irish car with only three owners

Another sub €4K W221, looks fairly respectable although a change of ownership on 6/6/20 would raise a few red flags. No history of it being a SPSV.

It's a weird one, but the mismatched reg's are singing to me.

The W221 are now getting into the range where I’d feel comfy taking a chance on one of them.

    CLS wheels under it

The silver one you posted the last day looked a gem. Nicer spec on the black one, and much nicer colour combo

Would definitely like to have one at some stage soon-ish

310k miles, it certainly earned its keep anyway.

Really like the cls. Pity about the color.

Can't see much interest with the mileage TBH at that price, or close to it.
    Wonder is it still 310k

Looking very dog eared and not a straight panel on it. Meh

Asking price is a tad over budget but petrol v8s are in short supply in here....

Shocking spelling and no nct and tax, rear airmatic suspension sitting up in the air.

if anyone happens across a petrol w221 in black with a cream interior and a few toys, before posting it here just throw me a PM :pac: , a few months staying out of the pub I'm cash ready for another barge and I just can't escape the 221s appeal.

I’m waiting for a cheap one needing bodywork, i’d like to spray it firetruck red and get facelift wheels and body kit for it.

Are the s 350s reliable machines ? What’s the torque like on em? I’d say they’re fairly heavy

Wish I hadn't looked at that advert now, it should have been posted with a disclaimer. Only saving grace is the skirts won't fit an LWB - at least that's what I'm telling myself.

Quite reliable for a modern diesel tbf.
Leaks from oil cooler are inevitable though .......... bit of a job to change them, there's updated seals though so once done with them should be ok going forward.

having looked into it extensively the w221 is the most reliably of the Celtic tiger/ post Celtic tiger barges in every flavour, it has its issues but reliability is ahead of most of the e65 variants and the A8 of the same era. The ls460 is the most reliable one but just not as plush as its German rival.

08 S320, exlimo even though the seller said it’s a ex taxi?

    https://www.donedeal.ie/view/25144228

    €3250.

You'd think he'd stick 12 months tax on her before selling, and before the new owner has to change ownership type to the more expensive tax!
