Lol, yes. You've proven whatever point you were waffling about. Good job.

You guys are kinda killing any credibility this topic might have had.

A mediocre life is the worst kind of life and part of it is chosen and part you inherited from your schooldays where the icons told you experiments-predictions displace the more balanced observation-interpretations-predictions for a creative/productive life.

You should try your hand at interpreting the time lapse footage of the Earth moving around the Sun where the stars change position from left to right of the central Sun due to the orbital motion of the Earth -

Within a few weeks, the planet Mercury will be seen moving between the stationary Sun and slower moving Earth and that is a prediction you won't hear anywhere else.

That is what it means to be a true prophet, magician or astronomer.

Also will point out the best magicians in history had what you would call in the industry as black magic i.e. a demon spirit giving them power to perform tricks that are not humanly possible to anyone else. But in return that demon owns the magicians soul when they die.

Oh no. A person who believes magic is real thinks I'm mediocre.

    How shall I survive this...?

Astronomy is nothing to do with "magic" or "prophecy".

In relation to this subject, some people believe the "mark of the beast" passage is a prophecy or a warning from the bible about modern technology

It's a line in a book written by someone, it doesn't refer to anything 2k years in the future, because obviously we all lack the supernatural ability to "see" into the future.

Unless the holy spirit gives someone a glimpse of the future like in the book of revelation.

There have been several thousand deities, spirits, gods, whatever. Human beings have a tendency to fabricate them in order to address complex questions and issues

If people want to believe in these things, that's fine, but believing in something doesn't mean it exists. If it did, then Santa Claus would exist.

Keeping that in mind, claiming X spirit did Y is meaningless in any logical sense if it can't be supported or demonstrated properly

Big difference between Santa Claus and Jesus Christ. Even in today's world people still have the power to cast out demons in his name.

These being the demons who inhabit magicians to allow them to pull rabbits out of hats etc etc. ?

Demons don't exist either I'm afraid.

Unsurprisingly they moved it as the mods in here are just a part of the same big tech nexus that dominates discussion on the internet such as twitter and YouTube. They will routinely delete demonetise and shadow ban conservative and Christian views and promote left wing orthodoxy, atheistic and techno cratic world views and other new age religions and cults.
It's neither a conservative or Christian viewpoint that pushes this mark of the beast stuff. It's conspiracy theories. Eg basically every US president for the twenty years has been assumed to be the antichrist.

As in exorcisms? That's psychological abuse that has resulted in the death of plenty of people. Schizophrenia, bipolar etc and other explicable conditions have been treated as possession by exorcists. So no, it has not been used to cast out any demon.

True, Jesus Christ actually existed. But keep in mind he was a normal person, he didn't have X-Men like powers, that's all a figment of someone's imagination, like demons, and the "holy spirit", and Santa Claus

If someone is referring to a passage in the bible, like the "mark of the beast" one, it refers to whomever came up with that line at the moment, or however many translations of it there have been. At no point did it ever refer to future technology that no one knew about.

It's relevant and I keep bringing it up because people used to claim that barcodes were the mark of the beast and a sign that the end times were coming.
Your belief is exactly the same, just with different technology.

You can't seem to explain why your belief is superior or substantially different, so bringing up barcodes is an effective way to highlight the silliness of claiming things about the mark of the beast.

Sure. And your belief in the mark of the beast is not shared by millions. It's a fringe belief not shared by many people at all.

But it's not my opinion, it's a fact.
There's no such thing as supernatural prophesies. Much like how there's no such thing as fairies or magic.
These are things that only exist in fantasy.

It’s just your opinion actually. You have no idea if life is in fact a battle between good and evil or is just a meaningless cosmic coincidence. You have no idea why you are here, why life exists or if there is a God. You are ignorant of many things so you can in no way dismiss the Bible or the people that believe.

Furthermore to my point and which you continue to ignore, the prophecy in the book of revelation regarding the mark of the beast could in no way have existed until the last ten years. Now human societies can implement the mark quite easily whereas in the preceding 1900 years we could not.

Further prophecies that indicate we are at the end of the age include the reformation of Israel in 1948 (Third Temple) and the existence of television (Revelation 11.9).

He had the ability to cure the sick, feed thousands, casted out demons and defied death through the resurrection, thereby showing there is life after death.

Mediocrity is reactions, slogans, stock phrases and generally the inability to be considerate whether Christian or non-Christian.

So the Book of Revelation maintains it's silence in those who are sullen and that is the way it always will be.

The Book of Revelation is canon. If you are a Christian then you believe that Jesus will come to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end. Furthermore you believe in Satan and that his empire upon a Earth will be destroyed. Jesus said you will know neither the day nor the hour but you will know the season. Witnessing the great falling away from the Faith in the past generation is clear evidence amongst many other signs that we approach the end of the age.

It states quite clearly in the Bible he had supernatural powers and thousands followed him around to be healed. I would respect you more if you didn’t believe in his existence at all. At least then you would be consistent that the gospels are lies or Roman propaganda.

The funny thing is the entire western world and it’s philosophy is built on The foundation of Christianity but these scoffers deny what is in their face and indeed in their mind. It is Christianity that has led to the development of the human race and science itself. These atheists wouldn't believe how cruel and heartless the world was before Jesus and the followers of Christ like Paul began to slowly change it. The Renaissance and the scientific revolution began in countries that were devoutly Christian not in pagan China or in the Ottoman Empire. But these atheists would cut off their own nose to spite their face.

You should be able to reference the Pope stating that the end days are coming and that Bill Gates is giving out the mark of the beast. Or any other major Christian faith stating as such...

I follow Jesus as recorded in the Bible not necessarily the Pope. The church was corrupted long ago. Read up on the vision of Pope Leo 13th.

Okay, so what you're saying is your view is a fringe view for Christians..... And can legitimately be viewed as a conspiracy theory and the majority of Christians would even view it as such.

A lot of it is to do with deception as well. The few that control this world at the very top pledge their allegiance to lucifer and by having control over the financial system, global media, film and music industries, are all very powerful weapons to lead people astray.

Many of the angst angry athiests (perhaps even Islamic folk) on this forum 24/7, don't even accept the weighty math probability than humans aren't alone in the universe.

They comformt themselves in spitting bitter vitriol, while looking forward to their impending eternal nothingness (explains their state of mind). Loverrly bunch of lads.

What's to differentiate your view to that of the propaganda against Jews that the Nazis used?

Those providing financial support to the Nazis back then were financially supporting both sides. If you follow the money trail to the bank of international settlements and above them, then this gives an indication who has the real power.

You may be the rare exception. Perhaps your defence of all things Islamic could be a factor at play here? i.e. your're not a genuine athiest, or still have one foot somewhere else.

Afterall, any other lifeform would be deemed a sky'god' by defualt. inc. coming down from the sky, clouds, if it were to have any subtle influence and contact here since the origins of time.

The only counter argument to the likelyhood of other life is that of logistics.
But 'gods' they certianly would be.

Wow you're really out doing yourself this evening, I will also require evidence for this ridiculous claim.also.

Nope, sorry, I wouldn't see them as "gods" I would see them as visitors from another planet, maybe even another universe or realm of time/space.
