I think they mean physical testing. The Mercy in Cork and a few in Dublin have 3/4 hour testing turnaround times.

    They all were staff?

Well yes because they said it was occupational health in the hospital that notified them of all those additional cases.

France for some reason has not reported number of new cases for 48 hours, deaths only

    How do you know

There's no way phase 1 isn't happening on Monday. His tone is completely different this week, there's zero talk of restrictions not being lifted from Tony this week, whereas he was at pains to reference it constantly previously,

Tony Holohan won't have the final say in any case. The government will and there's no noise suggesting that phase one won't start on Monday. Phase 1 on Monday - Put your house on it.

When it's a hospital transmission Occupational health contact other healthcare workers who were close contacts.

He said that Beaumont can go through the whole cycle in 24 hours.

Manage the situation I'd say. They can't even get into China to see how it started
WHO were in China in Jan., widely reported in media, please don't buy into Trump's continuing attempts to shift blame for situation arising from the US response to COVID-19.

So, you're saying all of the delayed cases were health care workers in a single hospital?

I didn't catch all of the briefing because the audio was so bad.

No clear information. They didn't know but will be taking steps to find out.

I'm thinking it's either Limerick or Waterford. Only major hospitals will have 300+ cases. The CUH is empty so it can't be there.

Well all that was said is the additional cases were reported to them from an occupational health department in a hospital who hadn't previously reported positive cases to them.

Sorry if it's been asked, it's moving at a fast space.

But with the likes of garden centres and that opening from Monday - is there a limit to how far you can travel to one?

    Tense enough at times.

Tony is wishing Zara King was here today to give him some inane softball questions.

"He" , good man. We'll see how good the HSE testing and tracking system is in a couple of months when the virus pays us a return visit.

If CUH is 'empty', looks like the most likely?
The CUH never had that amount of cases. I know that for a fact.

Really? I would have though it was the same as travelling for food etc, you can travel more than 5k which is the limit for exercise.

Cases notified the past 24 hours only, not all time

Can somebody explain to me why they lump everything together into one massive figure that immediately gets everyone's backs up instead of going "here are today's figures, and we also have a figure that we've put together from unreported cases." It really doesn't help the trust in these people if they're just tossing out numbers and not giving proper context until after people start questioning.
