The great thing about this particular branch of Freemanism/mad libertarianism is that you can never really be wrong.

Bill Gates at the moment. Soros is taking it easy during lockdown seemingly.

Judge appointed by Charlie Flanagan, who in turn was appointed by George Soros obviously :pac:

Sure, why did they bother when this was all "anticipated"?

In refusing leave to Gemma O'Doherty/John Waters to challenge Covid-19 laws, the High Court said: "Unsubstantiated opinion, speeches, empty rhetoric and a bogus historic parallel are not a substitute for facts."

    Hear hear.

Of course this State appointed judge will always have ruled with the State. Apart from all those occasions when he didn't.

I thought Bill Gates was the new Soros

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

Have they ever been photographed in the same room together???

I'm thinking along the lines of a shape shifting lizard entity.

They're going to lodge an appeal, bloody hell

Of course.... Milking it for more publicity. They don't really give a **** about the case itself. If there were none of these laws Gemma would be demanding them.

While obviously it's good that this attention seeking charade has failed (pending appeal), it still leaves room for contrarians and edgy folk to claim the laws in question "could be unconstitutional; their constitutionality has never been tested. Would be interesting to see it in court." Conveniently ignoring how the challenges to the constitutionality of said laws have been so baseless that they've failed at the first hurdle.

It's like me saying I could beat Ronnie O'Sullivan at snooker; it's just I've never been allowed play him.

Yup, the judgement pretty well backs up that assessment. They haven't really made any legal arguments and they certainly haven't made any scientific or medical arguments.

They didn't justify their statements that COVID figures were fraudulent and they didn't attempt to rebut the State side submission either.

This is just an attempt to use the court room as a backdrop for the standard Twitter rant. The main loss on their side was that they couldn't pack the galleries with their supporters.

    Who pays for these cases?

Was just about to ask that where is all the money coming from she tweeted about support from the US earlier you’d wonder who is funding it

    Who pays for these cases?

That's the question isn't it. Just who is funding these Presidential Campaigns? These General Election campaigns? And who is putting the money up so that the unemployed Gemtrails can waste the time of the courts again and again?

Taken from the judgement linked above:
    56. Unfortunately, in making their case for leave the applicants, who have no medical or scientific qualifications or expertise, relied upon their own unsubstantiated views, gave speeches, engaged in empty rhetoric and sought to draw an historic parallel with Nazi Germany - a parallel which is both absurd and offensive. Unsubstantiated opinions, speeches, empty rhetoric and a bogus historical parallel are not a substitute for facts.

Justice Meehan isn't one for mincing his words, is he? :)

Pretty much summing up the two bellends entire platform in a single sentence this judge!

Also an accurate legal summary by the Judge's of these 2's case: BEGONE TWATS! :D

    Who pays for these cases?

I was sent a link to a YouTube live video last night of one of them, I wont mention his name as I don't want to give him any exposure more than he gets but I'm sure you can guess who, he had 2 antivaxxer loons on spouting off about apparent upcoming vaccinations.

I had a brief scan over the comments etc and he has a lot of "members" on his stream, and his membership is 2 quid a month or something to support him, it all adds up I suppose, but last I heard this guy was a dole muffin, so do they pay taxes on these "donations" or what way does it work?

Anyone with a basic reading level, and a copy of the constitution could have known this was going to fail

Judge, in no uncertain terms, put them very much in their place.

Any appeal is going to fail, thankfully.

Why? What do you think Ireland will be like in 18 months?

Reading through the judgement and their claims(starting at point 36 if anyone is bored and/or interested

insanity is too nice a way to describe the claims they have made

the rent freeze and evictions ban "impedes access to justice" apparently

the lockdown "set backwards gains made in safeguarding psychiatric patients"

It reads as if someone is rambling and just trying to stick what ever they can to a wall
