People having fun and not living in the state of irrational manic fear that media and governments want to keep them in. The lockdown will kill more than the virus in countless different ways. Hopefully in the future there will be a Nuremberg style trial to punish those responsible for destroying people’s lives and livelihoods.
Those behind the lockdown (prison terminology) are not capitalists. They abhor the idea of democracy and have nothing but contempt for the general public. They are the super rich and unelected technocrats. They want a digitized communistic system ruled by “experts”and the eradication of the middle class. It’s a power and wealth grab along with a massive dose of social engineering to pave the way for their aims. Think East Germany on steroids with far more advanced tech for surveillance. Zero freedom of speech and the total erosion of basic individual rights. That’s the future being prepared for us.
Their various NGO mouthpieces have been discussing and writing about it in their publications for decades. Ireland is a signatory of Agenda21, maybe you should read that one first. rebranded back in the early eighties as environmentalism when it became clear that the failure that was the Soviet Union was on the way out. Gorbachev rebranded himself as an environmentalist almost immediately after the fall of the USSR, just in time for Rio 92 when agenda 21 was put on the table. This plandemic is nothing more than a big leap towards a technocratic society based around Marxist philosophy.

    Clueless. Absolutely clueless.

You, literally, haven't a fucking bull's notion what you're on about.

Dunno mike. Are you **** to the death numbers?
dEATh is coming for you mike.
Your number might be next mike. Your toilet paper stash might come in handy.

You shouldn't have deleted your other reply, it really cemented how desperate for attention you are.

Death is coming for us all Jimmy, lest we be immortal. Should my number be next, I guess it's my time to go :)

So what's your take on things Jimmy? The virus is a lie? Not a lie? It's all a simulation? A social experiment? I'd love to hear your well thought out, highly informed conclusions.

It’s not a killer virus. No need for a lockdown (prison terminology) the vast majority of people could get on with things without being worried. The decimation of the the economy will kill more people. People with other health conditions and concerns are being neglected because of it and governments have burned economies to the ground with hysteria driven copycat reactions.

So what are people dying of, if this is not a "killer virus"? Mass hysteria?

'Lockdown' is a media term, make no mistake. It has been stressed time and time again.

People with other health conditions and concerns are being urged (at every single briefing) to seek medical help if they need it. Some non urgent services are suspended but that's to be expected given the nature of an epidemic. It would be the same if there was an outbreak of MRSA or similar in a particular setting.

Older people and people with underlying health conditions are at significant risk of death if we hadn't taken the measures we took. Are they just worthy casualties to you? We have a moral and ethical duty to protect the most vulnerable in our society. A person is still a person regardless of their health status. They are peoples parents, siblings, spouses, partners, don't lose sight of that.

Does anyone have any stats about how close to full capacity hospitals became?

The temporary hospitals in the UK have barely had any admissions. NHS Nightingale, 4,000 beds treated just 54 patients and is closing next week.

Not sure of the accuracy but I heard Elon Musk state on a podcast that US hospital are at ~30% capacity with some hospitals laying off staff!

Posters on this thread sneered at the slightest suggestion that anything other than collapse of the NHS, in particular, would have occurred by now.

Granted the past few weeks have flagged unpreparedness in the face of a black swan event, but is it now acceptable to contemplate that perhaps there was an over reaction to this crisis?
Or will such thoughts have me sent to the Hague?

See this is part of the orange ones re-election strategy-to get people to doubt the numbers and accuse CDC of over-reporting.

I die a little inside every time I read about him.

Carpooling is fine as long as all have a letter from work.

Singapore have jumped ahead of us in cases and they had it pretty much under control early on, just shows what can happen when you loosen up.

The outbreaks in Singapore are nearly all (88%, as of 28th April) related to migrant workers, living in cramped dormitories.

Anyone else reading these developments re Wuhan military world games in October - no mainstream news outlet here has reported this yet...(I don’t really count The Sun):

    https://www.thesun.ie/news/5400791/fears-coronavirus-europe-october-french-athletes-military-games-wuhan/

    Spanish newspaper bit more reputable:

    https://www.theolivepress.es/spain-news/2020/05/08/spanish-athletes-displayed-coronavirus-symptoms-following-the-world-military-games-in-wuhan-in-october-2019/

If in fact the military of France and Spain brought this back in October..it throws up a lot of questions - has Covid been with us since before Christmas?

My nephew goes to work 5 days a week with workmates.
They pass two checkpoints everyday and have never been turned back.

There seems to be a lot more noise in the last week coming from various European countries that their military arrived back from the World Wuhan Military Games with symptoms of Covid last October. If we look at the R0 for this virus, it’s highly likely it was here too.
There are articles related to Spanish and French military claiming to have been infected appearing. Mainstream news outlets here not yet:

It would be great if it was but if that was the case the nursing homes would have been cleared out months ago ?

The lockdown slowed the spread of the virus and prevented people getting sick all at once. If everyone continued on their normal lives that we had before this virus hit us, the virus would have spread more and there would be more people sick together at once. That's when the hospitals would have overfilled.

Thankfully the governments prepared and its better to be over prepared than under prepared.

I read a comment online suggesting these makeshift hospitals should be turned into recovery centres for sufferers of covid19 who faces an ongoing battle with this viral disease. Some people are experiencing symptoms for 6/7/8 weeks+. It really does hammer a body.

I find it all so weird and bizarre. Millitary teams from around the world attended sporting games in Wuhan and all went home and became sick.

Surely that would indicate that this viral infection was spreading in Wuhan back then.

What's on my mind is if this virus is from natural origins or if it was unleashed from them labs upon the the military soldiers attending them games.

It would probably take time to filter down into nursing homes.
