Jesus. Has anyone seen the clip of Gemma on youtube being an rude entitled ignoramus to a Guard. Unbelievably this delusional creature put up the clip herself. Some more able than me should copy it on here.

    What an absolutely vile creature

And her silly court case is shunted to the top of the list as people die trying to protect us.

    A toxic self obsessed viper

I only saw it this evening. The garda deserves a minutes clapping just for herself. I don't think I've ever witnessed a sense of entitlement that huge before.

Apologies if this is old news. I did do a quick check but didnt find anthing. Actually shocked that any person would behave like this outside of a comedy show.

Please send chocolates and flowers to the fabulous guard. If it were me I would have dumped my career and hauled the evil witch from car and thrown her into the river

Gemma O'Doherty is a toxic combination of a "I want to speak to the manager" type woman and David Icke.

Except instead of the manager of Milanos she wants to speak to the Supreme Court.

    Brilliant description :D

I think the Garda who had to deal with yer woman showed great restraint.

I am getting tired of this crowd and their allies (many seem.to be spouting the same rhetoric on the Relaxation thread,) here and on other threads and on social media in general. I can't help feeling if restrictions were lifted to satisfy this ignorance these would be the first people complaining when A&E is chockablock and people are dying in their own homes. It's scary how many seemingly intelligent people are acting completely thick about this.

I'm about to bury my mother who has passed due to this horrible virus. If I ever meet either of these despicable excuses for human beings so help me God I hope there's someone with me to keep me from driving a size 12 up their respective holes.

When she told the guard that she “seemed quite nervous” over and over I felt my teeth gritting with anger. Oh course she’s nervous, you’re videoing her against her will, naming her to hundreds of thousands of people, and you are shouting abuse in her face, all whist she is standing on the frontline trying to protect horrible people like you from a deadly virus.

What a vile human being! Reminds me of that a*sehole from White Moose Cafe. Attention seekers and bullies.

Sorry to hear that about your mother sweetie.

A Garda can't take your money or your presents. Send a nice card or letter.

You know, as vile and disgusting a woman that she clearly is, her broadcasting it to the masses should “be welcomed,” notwithstanding the wrongness of it..

It shows us what a toerag she is..

Poor Gemma will just get excited by this. Further evidence of a sinister campaign by evil people trying to flood the country with immigrant zombies controlled over 5G by Leo Varadker and English freemasons intent on wiping out the Gaels while Gemma stands alone bravely defending Eire Saor etc etc world without end amen

Those of you in here calling for laws against recording encounters with An Garda Síochána seem to be forgetting what happened in the O’Higgins commission regarding Maurice McCabe, Jobstown trial where Gardaí committed perjury on the stand and the Rte cameraman assault etc

If your a Garda and you’re not abusing your power then you should have nothing to worry about someone recording you.

Video recently uploaded on the lovely Facebook. Usually Dublin scumbag robbing a car. Had about 30 other little scumbags recording you could see in video, anyway crashed into Garda car causing huge damages, they lost control and stopped. Garda pulled them out of car while the other little scumbag are nearly running into traffic to try to record

Video is up, whole conversation is about the Garda has rammed into the scumbags, didn’t happen

Then it was the poor lads getting dragged out of car!!! Then it was about the Garda leaving them on side of road handcuffed..the poor fellows.

This is what the Garda deal with every day....

In Jobstown they should have just went in with battons and beat the living crap out of the lot of them.....shower of wasters!!!!

or any scumbag with basic editing skills can make the police look like like the aggressor
if your going to use examples you should know what your talking about .

did your read the o Higgins commission reports , how many allegations were substantiated vs how many were fictional
how equipment that was ripped off gardai during the jobstown incident was recovered during drugs raids

remember the shell to sea rape tape that was later quietly proven to be edited.

    agenda much ?

Nobody at all bothered by the fact that the legislation may be unconstitutional?

The aul sexism didn’t get any traction, so trying a new angle?

Would you rather the hospitals were overcome and 1,000 people per day were dying from Covid-19 just to stick it to ‘the man’....**** is that sexist as well?

    Except nobody did that.

Many called O'D a gowl for recording/livestreaming the way she did - and she is! - but I don't think there many, if any, said it should be outlawed.

Disagree completely. Anyone can show the parts of the video that suit their narrative to make the guard look like the aggressor. The go-to of the scrote is for the person acting the bollox to start screaming brutality and the friends whip the camera phone out...have a look at Inside the K.

However, all guards should have body cams that must be running at all time, and time stamped. No ambiguity that way.

Potentially a similar court case in the UK
    https://www.theguardian.com/law/2020/may/01/uk-government-faces-legal-challenge-coronavirus-lockdown-businessman-simon-dolan
He is taking the action... on the grounds that the lockdown was both legally defective and disproportionate in law. He is also seeking minutes of the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage) meetings this year, some of which involved Boris Johnson’s adviser Dominic Cummings.

Though it does seem to be a more reasonable way to approach it - I don't think he'll be going the screeching at police officers route.

Not sure if it’s the same video, but In the one I’ve just seen Gemma says something like “your time is coming”. I understand why the Gards didn’t take it further at the time, but is that not considered a threat?

Oh, I forgot to mention, she is a raging ****

Politically, this case is helping the Gubbermint as no one wants to find themselves in the same corner as Gemma.

But there is a reasonable case to be made here about whether a proportionate response is being taken.

In fairness, it was already pretty much inaccessible to most of the city.

But well within the 3,500 km range allowed to Bulgarian fruit pickers under the Health (Load of Bollocks) Regulations 2020. I'd say they're hopping if they noiw can't visit the Zoo.

This whataboutery is pointless, in my current job (essential worker) I travel just 30km each way, but my previous position would also have been classified as essential and involved 32 county travel to multiple sites including one of the meat processing sites in the news (I'm glad I'm not doing that anymore).

Unfortunately it isn't practicable to keep everyone at home 24/7 for a few weeks but we need to do all we can to avoid interpersonal contact.
I haven't met any of the Bulgarians and I doubt many people have, most of the immigrant workforce tend to keep to themselves. A lot of the Eastern Europeans who have been in this country for several years can still barely hold a conversation in English so I suspect they only socialise with others from their country.

Also I doubt if many complaining about the 2km limit on exercise ever walked even half that most of the time.

I fear your spark is dimming. Like all of us, you need this peculiar time to end.

I think our political leaders just needed to show the alternative is unsustainable. And, in fairness, that need seems global.

I suspect, though, that the WHO are just technocrats. Probably surprised at the extent to which they were actually entertained.

We all want it to end, but we need to be patient.

I have seen an argument that the long term effect on GDP would be higher if we just allow the virus to spread (death rates would increase dramatically amongst the working population once the hospitals are overrun).
