Of course like most good Catholics. Though I didn't have the reserves of strength I do today.

Last time you were inappropriately inebriated?

When was the last time you felt pure joy?

    What is a magic yogurt?

Am I the only one who spells yogurt with a 'h' ?

I don't eat it, but there's porridge there if you're hungry.

A magic yoghurt makes you feel happy

Stopped eating porridge as I stopped taking milk, I take almond milk and I don't think it can be heated up

What's the plan for today ?

Same thing we do every day Pinky, try to completely avoid the world.

Ah in seriousness I’m gonna do my weekly trip to Dunnes (exciting!) and walk the dog.

Is it still a bit cold out really?

sorry for jumping in. In reply to the above. just for the reference to a meal out. Always thought that was an American phrase.

No its mild with a chance of meatballs

    Was that a cheeky answer?

It is a bit cold outside

Does anyone wear a face mask whilst shopping?

@Seph: Not cheeky enough for a note home.

antgal: I have a mask I wear for shopping and the post office.

    Do you think that’s OTT?

Absolutely not. I ordered material this week to start making my own and giving to friends and family. I think we all need to start wearing them.

Will you wash your hair today?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 292 ✭✭Hippykitten

    Yes

    Have you been outside yet?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

'Course, I practically live outside in summer. Would if I could. Still seem to bring my phone :D

How many hours do you spend outside?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 497 ✭✭antgal23

Y'day, I was outside most of the day

Or is it better to say " I was outside most of the day y'day"?

Doesn't matter, it matters that you were.

Would you take me up on a dare?

'Yesterday' is better. 'Y'day' makes you sound like an Australian with a speech impediment.

    Do you like gentle rain?

No, Widders. I never accept dares.

It's lovely, has its place, we wouldn't be the emerald isle without it.

Confession : I like the way they say "this arvo" in " 'Straya"

Did childhood fairytales help shape your outlook or personality?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 497 ✭✭antgal23

No, but Mick Dundee did ;)

    Picasso or Goya?

No. My childhood had far too much reality that I've been trying to undo the harm from since.
Goya! Them's my kind of fairy tales.

What about you (to either question)?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,446 ✭✭✭✭Sardonicat

    Glitch

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 497 ✭✭antgal23

Did Mick Dundee not inspire you fight crocs and carry a huge knife?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

How did his wife Susan keep getting younger? One of the prettiest women in the world imo.

Edit: fairytales were part of my training, Sardonicat. I had a peculiar childhood.

I was married to a Mick Dundee, not all they're cracked up to be. Maybe he was a pseudo Mick.

"THAT'S a knife". Someday I'm going to get to say that line.

Do you like work boots on men? Ha!

Yes. I like boots of all kinds on both sexes (should that be 'all genders"?)

Don't laugh: Who the fug is Mick Dundee?

Right, this New York journalist is sent to interview an outback Australian crocodile wrestling hick. She's engaged to a slimy wall street accountant or similar. She ends up being woo'd away from captain cardboard at the 11th hour by salt-of-the-earth Mick. Worth watching the 1st one at least. It's quite sweet. At least for the scene in the subway station. Even my black heart was warmed.

    Boots are brilliant.

On a practical note they're better for your joints (so geriatric lol)

    Question: Are you politically correct?

    Crocodile Dundee? No thanks.

I don't think so. I don't go out of my way to offend people and I'm generally live and let live but I speak as I find and if I think someone's full if sh1t I've no problem letting them know before instructing them to jog on.

Would that rub you up the wrong way?

Not at all. Sounds fair and reasonable.

Who decides what's politically correct in 2020? Twitter?
