a TRX, squat rack and weights a bike and just built a 16foot climbing wall in the garage.

Any spare mattress for underneath it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

    Wow climbing wall! Cool.

No matress going. Plenty polystyrene though.

How much upper body strength do you need for climbing?

Decent strength is needed. Level thinking and planning your hand and foot movements are more important.

What skill do you think you master very well?

    Wow great question.
I could list off a number of things but meditation comes to mind ( pun intended! ) even though I don't practice it. Calisthenics is another. C++ also or something I haven't yet discovered.

    You?

    Wow great question also :)

Hand, eye, feet co-ordination I would say is very good. Also doing things is a state of zen.

Does Zen sound like paddywhackery to people?

Only if you say it with a great big fat spliff in your mouth.

    Are you zen right now?

Not Zen right now. Reading a book first one for fun in ages. Takes me a lot of concentration.

What do you need commitment and persistence with?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,816 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

    Ironically concentration.
    I'm a fidgeter.

Have you seen a wasp yet? One funker came in my window today.

One almost squeezed into the gap of the car window today. I managed to bat it out while swerving violently.

    Any penalty points?

Was promised two about three years ago but they never materialised.

Do you think hse workers are heroes in this pandemic or just doing their job?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,816 ✭✭✭✭Purple Mountain

I think they are heroes every day of the week given the conditions they work under on any given day.

My next meal is breakfast : granola and yougurt and a raw food energy bar.

    Why are we all awake?
