When all this was kicking off in Wuhan CNN had no interest, i remember vividly how shows like Anderson, and Coumo, and Don Lemon only had an interest in bashing Trump, night in night out . They ran many short pieces though down playing it at just the Flu, and calling it the Wuhan Virus , and the Chinese Virus.

CNN cut from the video half way through, gas.

I've noticed they've started doing that now, not showing the entire thing. As much as they love to slate him, even they are over his bull**** at this stage :D They usually cut back to it when pence comes out.

To be fair you've plucked 40% out of thin air with absolutely nothing to base it on and it's wildly incorrect.
Any COVID inpatient with anything more than mild disease gets an ICU review at ward-level which guides best management on the ward to avoid ICU admission and also advises whether or not the person is suitable for ICU.

I have now pronounced a couple COVID deaths on-call and I can assure you all had been seen by ICU and none would've benefited from ICU admission. The criteria for deciding ICU suitability is no different now than it was before COVID. What did benefit these people, rather than futile intubation in an ICU, was doing everything we could at ward-level to save them and where death was inevitable despite our best efforts, prompt palliative care input to ensure they passed comfortably and with dignity.

13th Apr 31 deaths, 6 with no underlying conditions.
12th Apr 14 deaths, 4 with no underlying conditions.
11th Apr 33 deaths, 8 with no underlying conditions.
10th Apr 25 deaths, 9 with no underlying conditions.
9th Apr 28 deaths, 9 with no underlying conditions.
8th Apr 25 deaths,7 with no underlying conditions.
7th Apr 36 deaths, 12 with no underlying conditions.

Total 192 deaths, 55 with no underlying conditions.

29% have no underlying condition. Of the remaining 71% with a condition a % would not be deemed "medically inappropriate".

There is nothing wrong with my estimates. Far from "wildly incorrect".

If you know better please provide some data.

Your response is appreciated yet I believe my laypersons question is valid based on the numbers given.

Does that mean anything they're doing correct now is illegitimate?

    Trump press conference is surreal.

It's like watching a scene from the movie 'Idiocracy'.

    It doesn't say that
It says x having underlying health conditions

Doesn't mean the rest don't - they just don't know at time of reporting

Time to stop the conspiracy spamming

Maybe, just maybe, Fauci is not as liberating as people think he is? I've seen very little from him to suggest he's anything but on Trump's side.

Because he's being very professional, knowing retaining some influence should improve things, whereas if he resigns or is fired that influence is lost

He's basically doing it for the good of the USA

In an proper debate where he wouldn't be allowed to go "full Trump" I think he would look terrible!
