I don’t think I’ve ever heard a bad song sung. And if there was one, I certainly didn’t sing it

Mahna mahna do doo be do do
Mahna mahna do do do do.

I remember this song from my teens. Maybe twenty or so of us stoned on hash would walk around singing this on the street and in chippers etc. Everytime I think back at this I still get the giggles. (No thanks I don't need psychiatric help)

    Ireland's Call.

Fields of Athenry, esp hate it when people bawl out "IRA" and "Sinn Fein" as if they're fun things to sing about.

Pretty much any and every Cuntry n Irish offering. Insipid and maudlin beyond belief.

This. I challenge you to watch it all the way to the end. Go on - give it a go.

It's hard to think of a worse lyric than -

Yes my name is Roman, last name is Zolanski
But no relation to Roman Polanski
Hey, yo Baby Bop, **** you and your EP
    Who's gassing this ho? BP?
Hmm.. thinks 1, 2, 3, do the Nicki Minaj blink

Thanks for that headache and the earache, and I dont know what that is you dared my to watch. Is it a torture video. Didnt get past 30 seconds before I dumped it (some people are actually braver than I). If this is what this generation are watching in regards to music. Well music wise there basically fu©ked. Has anybody thought of the children (I always wanted to say that)

Was gonna say this. There’s a part in it where she literally says “dur dur dur dur dur” as if to say f*ck my dumb fans, I’ll put out anything without trying and you’ll lap it up.

Ride on Time, by Black Box.

The walling chorus gives me a headache, so much so, that I can switch off whatever device it's playing on, from just hearing the first 'gotta get up' in the intro.

    That Friday song

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,115 ✭✭✭happyoutscan

Wagon wheel. Rots me from the inside. Closely followed by Fairytale of New York.

I was 'barred' from the jukebox in an old local I used frequent, when we lived in the countryside, for playing Queen.

The very next day, a younger local was lauded as a hero of music for putting Wagon Wheel on repeat 9 times in a row. 9 ****ing times in a row.

I swear if I hadn't been so hungover I would have burnt the place to the ground with everyone inside.

The following week I got barred proper from the jukebox for playing Cowboys from Hell by Pantera.

Great little pub with great locals.
