Sweden have substantially more deaths/m than we do.

Bit early declaring a winner here.

Sky are a headwreck, saying the US has more deaths than Italy and its a failure for the US. The US is 6 or 7 times the size of these countries. Its like a Dougal "near" and "far away" moment.

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

There's just no way of knowing what country is doing things right until all this ends.

Do you know much about the president before him?

You'd swear Brazil was a utopia before he came along

Really? I don’t recall saying or even implying it was a utopia. You need to stop attempting to read minds instead focus on what is being said...

In 2016, he said during an interview with Brazilian TV presenter Luciana Gimenez that he would not employ a woman "with the same salary as a man" because women get pregnant.

He told Congresswoman Maria do Rosario, from the left-wing Workers Party: "I wouldn't rape you because you don't deserve it."

Might not have been a utopia but it deserves better than this clown.

    What?

    How will it "give hope"?

Would you just don't be setting fire to stuff and letting it drift off into the sky.

I’m sure the Chinese think eating live animals and bats taste “amazing” too look at the consequences of that.

Fine them - whats the point of the new law if idiots like this wantonly ignore the rules and get away with it.

WHY are we sending the tests to Germany and not the UK?

The labs in England are literally across the Irish Sea so would common sense not dictate we send them there instead of Germany of all places?

Maybe quicker / cheaper / more reliable ?

Every one of that poster's covid19 posts are lauding Sweden. I'm still not sure as to whether he's a troll or an idiot, or perhaps both.

I think it might have been a better idea, for when all this is over, to do something like that, to mark a return to normality...

    Either way...

Not much, the fact that he thought that it was ok... instead of saying he was going to shops or some other excuse

No seriously, please don't. They're banned in some countries, and rightly so.

Whether you're for or against this Chinese Lantern activity please don't be at it. It's dry as you'll ever get out there for April. There's already been a substantial gorse/forest fire outside Newry, everywhere will be just as susceptible.

Just don't, do you live anywhere near a field? The grass is dry enough to ignite easily enough.

Because of the transfer of some nursing home patients to hospital prior to death their deaths become included in the hospital deaths. The most recently available figure for hospital deaths in this country is 200 or 70% of the deaths at that time.

Well add 30% to other countries figures, thats a fair jump.

I agree that yes, they do look amazing. A friends daughter passed away a couple of years and the family released some on what would’ve been her next birthday. But where they could possibly land and cause a fire is the problem.
The idea is lovely but the emergency services have enough on their plate without adding unnecessary problems to them tonight.
    Not attacking you Delly...
Shine a Light is a good idea, I’ll just be putting a battery candle in my front window tonight.
