    I've been saying it the last while...

    Implement more restrictive measures when ICU capacity is being threatened. They are clearly worried by the increase in the last few days, which, if it continues as such will saturate the capacity quite quickly. Given another couple of weeks, when we know exactly where we stand with transmission rates, the restrictions may be lifted. Expect them to be imposed again if rates or ICU capacity is at a dangerous level in the future.

    My father is the same age, did the same thing. I took his car keys off him. I hope he doesn't get it.

    Excellent post, in this modern era of constant clamouring for rights many have abandoned the idea of responsibility. Rights are earned by behaving responsibly, we have forgotten that

    I guess it could take different shapes and mass defaults is a possibility (or rather than default, the value of the currency debts are labelled in could be severely eroded). And I think eventually this will lead to a loss of trust in fiat currencies and the end of the dollar as the world reserve asset (the Dutch central bank actually had a paper recently explaining why storing gold is key for central banks to restore trust in the system in case of a reset).

    Yes the government are only drop feeding us dates we'll be locked down for the next year more likely couple of weeks yeah? No country has got on top of this yet
