    Britain and Netherlands did and it has failed.

    I thought the U.K. was subsequently told to move away from that plan and they stopped but that the Netherlands are still doing it?

    Being slow to move which is what happened everywhere is essentially 'herd immunity'.

    Not the same, when you bring your groceries home in your car, you have already bought them, they are yours to transport however you please.

    When Tesco delivery them, they are not yours until they are delivered, Tesco is responsible for ensuring their quality for the journey.

    It's not an absolute guarantee that you would infect your wife with coronavirus if you had it - there's a good chance, but no guarantee at all. She / you may also be asymptomatic and infective.

    He is simply infuriating.
    At least he's moved on from his nothing much to see here views on the virus from Februrary

    People in leadership positions need to work from home where possible.

    Looking towards Leo and Simon Harris. Surely Govt can do their business online.

    That includes media interviews. It is not a time we need to have key people getting unwell.

    I was chatting with Graces on PM a few weeks ago and at the time I dont think people were realizing on this Covid19 thread how insensitive it was to suggest Older people should just stay in doors and life should go on for the rest of us. I couldn't believe the arguments I was having with people talking about basically "old people being old so they are gonna die anyways, why should the economy suffer" kind of discussions.

    Really was so sad to see people being so dismissive of the older/vulnerable population. But its good to see a more united and empathetic approach being shown by most at this stage.

    Can someone explain to me why people are going about the place wearing gloves. Ok, you might want to keep your hands clean but why did I see someone wearing gloves and smoking a fag at the same time? Are people really that clueless? It's hand washing and not touching your face is the most important thing to be doing.

    More travel/transit in and out of here. Even if its short term trips.

    Kiwi people don't have a Northern Italy close by.

    It can incubate for 14 days so she could have it but not have developed symptoms yet.

    New Zealand is a lot more isolated than Ireland with much less travel to and from there.
