At least the police arrested these scumbags in England for the coughing in peoples faces thing. Hope the cops are stepping on their balls right now. Looks like they assaulted the 70 year old woman as well.

The man that interviened is Tommy Robinson
The video was on YouTube but probably taken down now
    I saw it
    Was appalled

    It's fcking despicable.
I'm not a violent man but by fck if I saw that or it happened to me I wouldn't be responsible for what I'd do.

As for those arsehats licking toilets (again for kudos and likes on FB and tik-bloody-tok) I hope they don't kiss their mama's with that mouth.

I think most people are already doing most of those things. They are already stated in the public health guidelines and follow general common sense.

So, your answer to my questions is:

Employment of a Grade 3 Respirator for the public to use doing their shopping and latex gloves. Furthermore, to learn correct techniques for putting on and off PPE using YouTube for the uninitiated.

Yes, I am fully aware what SARS is. It's in the name after all! And I'm sure people remember the outbreak in 2003. Yes, it could possibly be airborne but not in the way we know factually and with certainty that diseases like measles are airborne.

This is the second variant of SARS, hence the name SARS-CoV-2.

No underlying conditions in today's deaths.

Probably the same numb nuts who were buying pasta, pizza and toilet roll in bulk last week.

And they will again if any further restrictions are announced. So timing is very important in terms of supply chains stock and ability to pass the imbecil panic shopping wave like when the school closures were announced.

Which is why government policies deal with two factors in a disease outbreak; epidemiology and psychology.

You'd be hoping the death/ICU % would drop.as case number increases

In rare bit of good news italy has experienced new case numbers drop for 2nd day in a row

I didn't say that. The post I quoted said more test would mean more deaths. If people are that serious they will have in hospital and there test more urgent.

They should just do what they done in Denmark. They had hand sanitiser for sale. 1 bottle for 5 euro or 2 bottles for 95 euro.

Heard other day gang came into local supermarket and ran around touching everyone going corona virus corona virus. I think tonights numbers, these braindead f*ckers calls for a lockdown where only allowed out to get food and meds

Tonight's numbers are under the threshold of the 30% prediction. That plus an unverified rumour spead by pseudonymous internet commenter isn't much of a justification for a lockdown.

Credit where credit is due I am completely behind Tommy on this one.
I so wanted home to rip the 3 of them limb from limb
    Unfortunately he was out numbered.
Initially the cops seemed to be putting Tommy in the wrong for confronting them.

What's actually the logic here is something like:

    Cases have only jumped 23.7%

But people's emotions have jumped 46.3%

    Therefore....lockdown

I am not joking, I made 10 quarter pounders last week and 7 into the deep freeze. The smell of herbs/spices filled the kitchen all the next day.

I'm surprised they don't remain open for delivery / limited collection. Probably ran the numbers and didn't make sense to remain open.

They said that is was because the proximity of staff to each other while working meant social distancing could not be implemented.

It's on the RTE headline , maybe have a word with them.

I'm sure that's not what people want to hear.
This disease will kill healthy young people too.

They do the test anyway to check for antibodies. If you've none you didn't the virus in the first place so still at risk. But I'm just emeldc on boards, not a doctor 🙄🙄

Antibodies to the virus are not part of testing. Antibody assays arent available yet. They hopefully will be someday.

The current test detects the presence of the virus. It is a test for active infection.

Antibody tests will determine previous infection or exposure to the virus.
