Right now, I'm not a fan of China or their practices and their wet markets and I'm certainly not going to defend them here. There's a few things that don't sit well with me. It is my belief they have covered up an enormous amount. Not only did they build a hospital in 7 days but they also brought in 40 animal incinerators, capable of disposing of up to 30 bodies a day, and set them up right beside the hospitals. They also kept the "business as usual" mantra going well into the epidemic. We'll never know the true figures from there but you can take it as being a significant multiple of what they've released.

Actually the idea of planting a few seeds and growing some food at home is a good one.

It's the ultimate in low food miles and you are sure it is safe.

Also a good chance to show kids how easy it is to grow food.

Every single day....

I have been able to keep my own panic at bay up to now but I can feel myself losing my grip on it.

I hope they find a light at the end of the tunnel soon. Extraordinary times, it really does feel like a waking nightmare.

Yes and no.

I've always been a clean freak (I've always washed my hands every hour or two since I was a kid) so in that sense, I'm not worried about contracting it that way or through my own actions

I am worried about gombeens potentially spreading it around.
I am worried about commuting to work tomorrow on a bus and God only knows who has been on that.
