Specifically, the tests were missing a patented liquid into which the testing sticks need to be dipped before a screening can be administered, a Magen David Adom spokesperson told The Jerusalem Post. Without it, the test cannot be done.

Yeah, it's pretty clear the past two weeks of discouragement and closure of businesses is already starting to strain a lot of people's patience as people are getting out and about in public in fairly decent numbers. Further, stricter measures shouldn't be implemented when the lighter measures are already starting to show weaknesses.

Best thing to do is to wipe down the trolley handles with the disinfectant that most supermarkets are providing and the tissues to do it.

The official guidelines and it was said by the chief medical officer in one of the press conferences over the last 2 days that unless advised by a doctor there is no need for gloves. If anything your more likely to pass on the virus due to lack of hand washing with the gloves giving a false sense of security. Frequent hand washing is far more effective. The question was asked of him in the sense of supermarkets and petrol pumps, the petrol pump one started as a WhatsApp rumour and grew legs.

I'm someone who wears gloves holding baskets/pushing a trolley. I'm not doing it to be lazy in the hope of not washing my hands. I'm doing it in conjunction with hand washing too. Also I'm less inclined to touch my face with I have gloves on. I don't have hand sanitizer for my handbag.

We'll get to 4000 and blow past it in the week or two following. There's is no natural ceiling for this thing.

Doubt it, all swab kits I've been subjected over the years, go straight into a sterile container, then into a bag to be labelled with details, most came together sealed in a plastic bag.

I took the glove route today for no other reason than I was encouraged to wear them. Really did nothing for me, hand washing and no touchy face all the way!

This lack of patience by people was one of the reasons the UK government held off initially. Its all about Human behavior. If you semi-lockdown too soon people will lose patience and not adhere strictly to the guidelines and thus spread the virus quickly when we move into the "peak". Its all about timing.

Unfortunately the west has no chance of doing what the Chinese did to suppress it imo.

Just back from Portlaoise. Didn't want to go but had to. My car's keyfob battery died and I drove home from work yesterday sounding like an ambulance and being flashed by half of Ireland as my hazards bid them adieu...

The N80 is busier than the M7 motorway was yesterday on the way to work.
In Halfords and there was a prize onion buying bikes for her kids to give them something to do. Had the poor young lad demented.
Outside, a mixture of the odd one with masks on, plenty of mothers going around with toddlers/ kids and a group of 4 couldn't give a sh1t boyos in their twenties who were out for a few sh1ts and giggles.
I know we can't prejudge people's motives, but I think we need more clampdown. Portlaoise was as busy as a quiet midweek day. Too busy.

Multiple UK reg cars in that traffic, btw.

And they also tried to hide the virus and discredit people saying it was spreading. Hardly a model case seeing as that's where all this started. Bit their broken system did let them lock down the country in a way that others will struggle to follow.

Yes, and they said the next delivery would be 10 days later, are you saying they got another shipment 2 days later? so we got 65k test kits in the last couple of days this doesn't add up

It was an old hotel build year and years ago that was being used as a isolation center. Apparently the hotel owners had extra floors built so that caused the collapse
