I get all my med advice from Donald

in this case he is only as good as the experts advising him

A belief in gender identity involves a level of faith as there is nothing tangible to prove its existence which, as something divorced from the physical body, is similar to the idea of a soul. - Colette Colfer

When you see how quickly so many arms of the state have been mobilised together to fight this crisis it makes a complete mockery of the 'peace time' nonsense that we tolerate like the f*cking Leinster house printer and schools closing for 'service days'..

Because they are virtually testing no one in Uk. 39 year women in intensive care with cornavirus who was only tested for the virus on her third admission to hospitial!!!! Imagine how much she spread it on 1st + 2nd admission. That tells you the level of sickness you need to be at either it to get tested over there.

The UK is riddled with it just haven't bothered testing people.

It doesn't serve the politicians to have the numbers go up. It's a cover up like in China. You can probably calculate the actual numbers from the number of people in hospitals.
    UK is kill

If we do go full lockdown, what kind of shops would be allowed to stay open - just Supermarkets and Chemists? Or would Butchers, Fishmongers etc too ?

    Britney Spears - Toxic

    Peggy Lee - Fever

Probably wouldn't be financially feasible for the smaller places to open anyway, so you might have to rely on those that are placed within supermarkets.

No because unlike you I can speak a different language. Reads fine to me. Education is hard work. I suggest you start with google translate, copy and paste. Either way I couldn't give a fvck. You are welcome.

So all of the quantitive easing that has occurred and all of the buying of corporate and sovereign debt. Was that paid for with money already in the bank? or was it created out of thin air? 1s and 0s.

Usually paid for with borrowed money, which then has to be paid back, states don't just print money en masse to pay for things, you run the massive risk of hyperinflation.

Zimbabwe tried it in 2008, guess what happened - they got hit with hyperinflation, prices rose as much as 231,000,000% in a single year. To put that into perspective, something which cost one Zimbabwean dollar before the inflation would have cost Z$231 million a year later.

Surely the stress of going to work and running risk of catching this virus and potentially passing it onto sick or older relatives is much worse than social isolation/distanceing???

So have we paid back all of the QE measures since 2008?
    NO

Butcher down home is doing free delivery to surrounding areas. Has his 2 sons in 2 vans dropping to people. My Mum is getting deliveries and I would hate for that to stop.

Hopefully you'll start to question what he comes out with in future instead of giving him a pass or even praising him.

Even right now, it's ridiculous to see his supporters saying that he is the President the need to deal with this crisis.

    Shocking ignorance.

I know we are not on full lockdown but still a change in terms of number of shops still trading compared to last Saturday. In my town most non food businesses are now closed.

Or indeed the hospital bed crisis that has been going on for over a decade.

That's true. People are going to parks often now. Parks are packed like I've never seen before. Same as howth head and botanic gardens

I read that it's filling stations and post offices in France as well, so I assume the same for Spain too.

But there's no indication we're heading in that direction (lockdown) yet....the physical restrictions in Irish supermarkets and pharmacies are identical to what's happening in France and Spain.
