Still along way from Leo's predicted 15000, maybe his estimate is like a Ryanair flight time!

6 to 7000 is more likely if we mirror early Italian numbers.

Watched a documentry about prisons there recently. Horrific. Imagine if it got in here
    800x450

Once this thing takes hold in Africa its going to be Carnage. Entire townships with not an ounce of medical backup will be decimated.

Keep up the finger wagging Biddy.

Are you for real???!!!! Technology will have to replace face to face meeting for the moment!!!! Small price to pay. Everyone is acutely aware of how this will affect everyone, not just teenagers, but there's no other choice - unless you're completely irresponsible and selfish.

Evidence please. Bearing in mind, we want the low risk group to be infected.

This is a rule I can live with in more stores, and permanently :P

All depends on how you identify - with or without Covid 19

Is there numbers for how many tests have been ordered and how many people are still waiting. What's the capacity for testing per day? I'd say the numbers that are being released are a fraction of the people that have it.

Anyone else a pain in their face reading the words “the frontline”. No disrespect to all they do but the words irk me now.

    Its appropriate.

Treat this as a war I'm afraid. It's our only chance.

Was thinking the exact same yesterday watching a news report from South Africa. It will wipe out millions in Africa I would think.

If I ring the guards about a pub being open can I remain anonymous does anyone know?

Just say where it is and there is a massive fight going on there. Hang up if asked for your id.

Then post the pub name on social media/ local paper etc.

I don’t see why idiots who open/attend should NOT be called out, since the vast majority are doing their best to comply with advice.

Don't think it will have as big an impact in Africa as elsewhere, looking at the DRC only 2.5% of their population are over 65. Countries like Brazil and India are the ones I worry about most.

I cant say but over time the cases should follow the pattern , Italy is at a crucial point and the cases and death toll need to level out to give others hope.

Just bear in mind just how many other people have the same idea! Went to my nearest beach, people everywhere. Went to amenity walkway, car park full so went for a stroll around the nearby industrial estate. Nobody walks there.

This is a good time to discover your local countryside. Stay away from the well known places as everyone will have the same idea. Plenty of guides in the internet about less known local walks. Better still, get out the maps and design your own walks.

I was in Aldi in Ennistymon this evening and a young lady from a well known ethnic group was walking around coughing and no regard for anyone.
The nice lady at the till told me that's the 4th time she came in and did that today.

It looked like she was testing people's tolerance, then off out to the hi ace or whatever they call them ffs

Im not racist by the way, seriously
