A week or so of middling dry weather coming up guys, it might take the cabin fever off a few if they can potter about the garden or go for a walk.
Country living is definitely best in times such as this.
I'm enjoying reading this thread, hard to beat a bit of non bickering nonsense.
I used to be on the political ones a bit and the lot of them using what we are going through now as an excuse to dump on the other sides is about as immature as you can get.
Leo made a good point last night when he said this virus knows no boundaries.
We should all be singing from the same hymn sheet now.
Hope the good weather cheers us all up a bit.
Having a cuppa and a slice of cake, the cake is on the sly, I have to have it hid before the mistress of the house gets home

Well my idea going out dressed as a storm trooper in a bid to avoid infection has foiled, I hope will put a smile on all yer faces.

    Feels like the Titanic.:D

Another shop done to keep us indoors until after the weekend. Back to my usual planning of daily meals. At my old tech desk that's still a tech desk but for personal use. Doing some voluntary work for the cause.

I'm not long home after my walk and a bit of (clean dry) skip diving.Last year I rescued an original mathmos lava lamp and today I victoriously came away with a retro Roberts radio which OH is having a look at to see if it can be fixed. They're so cool just to look at.
Waiting in for my miracle groceries.

Was out for a walk earlier, it was windy, peoples hair in a mess.
In about 3 weeks time we will know everyone's real hair colour.

I can sometimes be very impulsive and headstrong...
and I've maybe destroyed someone today that I care for...and I can't do anything about it

@Panda Killa, they are strong words. I'm sure it isn't as bad as you think. The person may be more resilient than you realise. There have been a few times in my life where I felt destroyed, in pieces, but I gathered myself up and am now thankful for all it thought me.

You'll be ok and so will the other person x

It was a chocolate Swiss roll, and I got caught.
I had dinner ready when Mrs, came home, we ate and I made tea and she said Where's my slice of cake. I looked at her all innocently and confused looking and asked, what cake?
Turns out she went in to the shop on her way home for a few bits and asked the girl if I'd been in and gotten anything as she didn't want to be bringing the same as me, the stupid lassie told her about my cake.
We had a good laugh at that anyway.
Just back from a walk, putting my feet up for the night.

Is there no way for you to clear the air and soften the blow (if it was necessary ) or apologise? Maybe wait for the dust to settle and make contact. Hope it will be OK, Panda.

Just home from work after another hectic day, hectic but very positive. There's a real feeling of unity and everyone is super motivated to get the work done. Everyone giving up lunch breaks, or making them very short and working unpaid work hours.

    Oh, got the dog walked.

Now to watch the news, catch up on Covid-19 stats then try chill.

Thankfully the silly rumors about the army have stopped, they really added a lot of extra work to us in terms of calming fears & anxiety. Fake news idiots.

Hope you're all well, hope all your families are well too.

At home having a few bottles watching a documentary about Oscar Wilde. Walking around town today was really weird. Everything closed, pubs and all. I managed to have a few pints mind, entered through the back door obviously and took two thirsty English tourists with me. Even at that, ourselves and staff included, altogether the amount of people in the pub numbered less than ten. I reckon we're being told less than whats actually known

I was expecting more announcements today, but it seems to be business as usual apart from the retailers who are making the call themselves.

It is eerily quiet in here alright. I'm currently beerside about to go showerside. It's all go here. :D

That's mad you used that image. I was out at about 17:30 and it was bitter cold, the air had the feel of holloween about it. Summer holidays over and everyone bedding in for hibernation.
