Restaurants will likely be shut and only be allowed to serve takeaway / delivery.
Can someone explain how takeaway isnt a risk? Like someone preparing and touching your food is ok?

There are very different reasons for that, and as much as you'd like to ignore context, most people don't.

I know, I'm cynical but if the WHO are making such recommendations why can't I find them on the WHO info pages?

    Read the link https://www.france24.com/en/20200318-avoid-ibuprofen-for-coronavirus-symptoms-who-says

Asked about the study, WHO spokesman Christian Lindmeier told reporters in Geneva the UN health agency's experts were "looking into this to give further guidance."

"In the meantime, we recommend using rather paracetamol, and do not use ibuprofen as a self-medication. That's important," he said.

He added that if ibuprofen had been "prescribed by the healthcare professionals, then, of course, that's up to them."

Having a little gamble online can be a bit of relief for those isolating.

IMO, if normal events can continue then thats great, as long as people arent at risk.

Your not sitting beside a number of people for a period of time who could cough and splutter over you for a start. You not touching surfaces etc.
Wash your hands before eating it, no issue keeping takeaways open it might keep some businesses afloat

Because what I said is true.

Which is how it should be.

Wow. No it is not true. So you can't accept they now have changed tack. It's as i suspected you can't accept that people are criticising the UK approach because it undermines are, you have to see an ulterior motive.

    https://www.euronews.com/2020/03/18/coronavirus-fact-check-what-do-we-know-about-ibuprofen-and-covid-19

In a statement to Euronews, the WHO said they are “aware of concerns on the use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, such as ibuprofen, for the treatment of fever for people with COVID-19.”

The WHO added that are quickly reviewing the reports, they were not aware of a “published clinical or population-based data” on the matter.

“We gathering further evidence on this issue before making a formal recommendation”.

Because everyone is calling it the Coronavirus, not the China virus.
Not offended btw, I think he's using it as a distraction for his own failings.
