Yes. However they are private companies so likely have to honour exciting contracts on manufacturing and providing.

Medtronic in Galway assemble 50% of the worlds ventilators. They don't make the parts though.

I don't envy anyone with family in a home. I'm not criticising care homes, but no matter how good they are it plays on the mind that the care is outside your direct control. You have to place your trust in the staff and hope nobody drops the ball and nobody gets unlucky.

These are not WHO figures but from the European Center from Disease Control and Prevention. They report the daily figures available at 08:00 am.

If you look at the barchart there were no figures available from Italy the day before yesterday, probably because they were too busy to report them.

It must be absolutely horrific in the hospitals there now.

God help them.
