What business is it of yours what others do? Stay at home until it's all over if you're that concerned.

"Willie Mullins/Gordon Elliot is some man for one man"

This is the kind of f**king infantile gibberish these gambling pisswallets come out with on the regular as they fire their money into the bookies.

Let f**king Willie and Gordon, the some men for two men, look after them next week by putting them up in their sheds for a month.

Self isolate if you're so worried.

Cover of a regional newspaper I spotted earlier.
Huge COVID 19 shouty headline next to pic of a grinning bint in a stupid hat at Cheltenham.

I have stacks of books in the "waiting to be read" pile.
So I will make a start on them.

The only upside to this is that the inevitable public backlash to the decision to let the festival go ahead will hopefully hasten the demise of this anachronistic "sport".

Podcasts, Netflix, beer, and ****. I’d need Ebola before I resort to reading.

    Morons.

They went to Cheltenham, not Italy/China or somewhere where they were told not to go.

It’s an expensive trip - flights, accomm and one they would not get any money back from by not going/cancelling.

The event wasn’t cancelled, UK government didn’t advise people not to go, still haven’t said anything about sports games this week, etc. Anfield packed house last night for example and nothing said about that strangely enough.

I’d imagine many here have an issue with horse racing and/or gambling and using this as an excuse to bash the sport. Issue lies with government intervention, or lack of.

Organisers/Cheltenham visitors have done nothing wrong here.

Anything that purely exists for gambling will be gone soon, that rubbish included.

All this mass buying, Tesco'll order a new haul of lorries to grab stock from their warehouses to have a very profitable weekend [they typically do that after].

Now if you'll excuse me, I've got to sort out the pantry...

Yeah? How about I do that and I also slag off the ***** who are trying to make it worse by gallivanting over to England and traipsing back swarming with disease?

The selfish cunts who went to Cheltenham have made it more likely that others will have to self-isolate.

Big blowback these days against gambling (not that I agree with that). Horse racing is something that exists purely for gambling, there’s no other reason for its existence unlike most other sports.

If you value that above public safety and health, you are a selfish ****.

    Your posts are embarassing.

Big blowback? No, there hasn't. Gambling is going nowhere.

I don’t want it banned. I’m all for free will and people being responsible for their own decisions so I completely disagree with things like banning gambling, minimum price alcohol etc. But it doesn’t mean it won’t happen unfortunately. There’s massive nanny state opposition to gambling coming.

Horse racing does only exist for gambling though doesn’t it? Would anyone watch it without the betting?

My point is these people were not told 'not to go' and your disapproval should really be aimed at more than likely the UK government rather than festival attendees.

Only on Tuesday were mass gatherings like St Patrick's parade cancelled in ROI and the majority of these from Ireland would've flown over last weekend/Monday.

Even still on Thursday, the UK government still hasn't said anything about mass gatherings and only at midday today were we all told to stay indoors. (Edit: actually we weren't even, more a list of things that are closed but business as usual wherever we can)

There was a full fixture of GAA last weekend, are all the attendees there selfish cúnts?

I've no problem with then gambling on their horses, but they are now gambling with the lives of the people they come into contact with over the next few weeks. Selfish doesn't begin to describe them.

Would have to disagree, they aren’t traveling to a country where the virus is out of control
