    Then you had the minor, and escorts:)

    I could not imagine any Arfur daily type criminal being threatened if they were being chased by a morris minor.:P

    Just a 240d I'm afraid (1982). Taxed, no NCT. According to the NCT website the car has been recorded as scrapped.

    Today at St Vincent's Hospital; apologies for the black corners - original pic is at a angle caused by my rushing to take the photo. Black corners are a side effect to the editing tool I used to straighten it, as they were out of shot.

    How does that work, do you know? I saw a Kadett D GTE in for auction last weekend in the North, but was an old Meath reg, iirc, so an Irish reg car. When I checked the reg for an NCT it said it was scrapped, and yet here it was for sale.

    It’s a fairly common occurrence, and there are a few reasons for why it would happen. I think the most common is if a car has been untaxed for a long period of time (I.e there are no digital records) it is presumed scrapped by NCT

    That and the fact of course that the car never had an NCT

    Galway today. Absolutely stunning!

    One of the few cars I'd consider in LHD. This and an Audi Quattro.

    I believe an English company converted some of them to rhd.

    I drove a Belgian imported Evo Integrale once, unfortunately with the owner in the passenger seat!:pac: He was a gent, though, and let me put my foot down. A nice box to tick.

    He has followed the standard classic car approach vis-a-vis parking: Park it at the far end of the carpark, away from trouble, and 'accidentally' cross over the line into the adjacent space so no one can park in it. Do it myself all the time :pac:

    They'll still park beside you because they'll want to have a good auld look ;)

    Actually....no!:pac::P
    He was parked right opposite the door to Galway Crystal on the edge of the road. I think he was one og the organisers off the meet. Gathering up signs and putting into the boot.

    Just in case there are other Harry fans here and you don't know about the Espada rebuild, at Iain Tyrrell's Classic Workshop do check it out, and then watch Iain's channel. You won't regret it!!

    Nice! It's great seeing something so rare. Similar one I spotted in Cherrywood back in January, already on the Oldest Car thread. Was captivated by its beauty :cool:

    Yeah, I've been following that rebuild and subsequently Iain's own channel. THe man is a genius. I love the vid where he tunes the V12 Lambo with just a bit of rubber hose and a screwdriver.
