israel seems to be powering ahead with a vaccine.

"safety approval in 90 days" a bit optimistic i'd say

I wouldn't trust any government to give out correct infection figures. Either through ignorance or deliberate manipulation.

Of course there are varying scales, but I wouldn't trust countries like Russia. Even going back to Chernobyl in 1986. Generally the more totalitarian the regime the less I trust the figures. And of course some of our former democratic bastions have rogue leadership now.

I don't often agree with Simon Harris but I think he sums it up well saying there is need for neither panic or complacency.

Course they are. They are not sick and aren't gonna take a sick day or lose wages.

I was unsurprised to learn at lunch today two people I work with are off to Italy next week :)

I guess depending on the laws in each country some may be able to use an extrememly fast tracked vacine.
Stright on to general citizens after animal testing is over and without the long human test period.
Other countries would be far more reluctant because of possible legal problems in the future.

    If it works, it works.

I honestly don't think it's possible to get it that quick, but I'm just some randomer on the Internet... What the **** do I know?

Personally I think Remdesevir is the game changer here.

Those are official figures from last tuesday, they’re only updating the number tested on a weekly basis

First Offaly person diagnosed with Coronavirus. First Offaly person to go skiing. Don't know which one gets him into more trouble with the locals.

No new cases according to Harris on the news just now.

We should still lock down Limerick...for good...

Offaly is a good sign. Means he could stand a good chance of survival. Roscommon would be the death sentence.

All eyes on Kursk. Slava Ukraini.

At least Caitriona Perry asked how many tests were done since the 95. The Minister gave the answer that their testing basis was widenedsince but didn't answer the question.

I assume Nigera is one of the African countries capable of testing.

Would you not be more worried about the ones that can't test?
