Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

damn crap scoring by me, missed the reveals as was tied up
some of those answers !!!I had contemplated changing to schmcher for the football but just wasn't sure, taught his hair was too light and was tempted to change to langer also.
Gobsmacked that wasn't fu, flo jo or crashtor o\0 -
I've started compiling a list for another version sometime in the future but I sense it might eliminate those with limited sports interest as I've picked a lot of the most famous from each category already.
I've a WWE round now and I'm open to suggestions for other sports too

Holy crap, my first ever ovine-based win!
Really enjoyed that, thanks for running it lassykk. I have to admit I did get lucky with GAA and rugby, ordinarily I'd be looking blankly at all 8 pics in each.Hugely impressed by Zaph picking up Schumacher as an ace. That was one of my most obscure ones. Geotrig also identified him but didn't go with him in the end
He's famous for this which didn't even warrant a free kick back in the 80s!
I remember watching that match so well. I love how the title of the clip says "collision", when it was a full-blooded assault. Battiston ended up losing teeth, having several cracked ribs and damaged vertebra. It's a miracle he was able to continue playing football after it.0 -

It was before my time but was an unbelievable assault and to make matters worse he didn't even get a free kick. Apparently offered to pay for Battistons dental work afterwards. What a top notch guy!0 -
