Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. Already got rid of Maddison last week so just Chilwell and Vardy left from Leicester. Probably going Vardy to Jiminez this evening before price changes but must check on Lundstram replacement as well as he looks to have lost his place. Only one free transfer so not sure more changes would be worth taking a hit.

Thinking Mahrez to Traore and Vardy to Auba or Aguero.
The rest of today's games will make my decision....

Yet another FPL dream has died....time to cash in on Lundstram I think.

Might go double Liverpool defence if Mane isn't back from injury

  • Registered Users Posts: 805 ✭✭✭SameOleJay

Keeping Vardy, still like him at that price and Norwich in 28 just swings it.

Lundstrum out for another Sheff Utd defender. Frustrating one to have to make but their fixtures are just too good.

Soy & Lundy out I think
Might keep Vardy for a while

His time is well up now

I can already see the "sold Vardy and Maddison for 'x' and 'y' FML of course they start producing now..." in the coming weeks.

So I am going to stick with them!

So I am going to stick with them!

I like them because they nailed on to start, everyone has a Salah/Mane and god knows who else from the 6 teams still in Europe and who knows what the rotation will be once European fixtures start again in a couple weeks

That is my fear. Soy has to go though... I could live with the other two another few weeks unless Auba or Kun look like exploding

Lundstram to another SHU defender - is Baldock the best pick? Egan's price is tempting.

Can’t do that now. Will have to wait, need to downgrade someone to upgrade Vardy...

I like Stevens, sounds like he should have scored today. But Egan a good option too if funds are an issue.

From the eye test, I want Baldock but his price might be forcing me to move for Egan

Excellent, now it's just which one. I hate they have a blank!

I am actually thinking of Boly now instead for that reason. Though SHu seemed nailed on for clean sheets the next two games :-/

After my scintillating Lascelles for Kabasele last week, I've followed it up with Egan for Lundstram.

Might get a cup of tea to help me calm down after all that excitement.

My short term punt on Ayew fizzled out in failure, so I've sold him for Jimenez which I could just about afford.

Also took a -4 to move Lundstram out for Stephens. Sad to sell Lundstram since I've had him from the start, but I've had my fill of one-point returns.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,355 ✭✭✭Porthallian

Have exact money for Vardy/Greenwood to Firmino/Auba. Will be watching closely to see how Auba does

Is Lundstram really dropped for good? Seems crazy given how well he has performed this season.

    Scratch that idea.
Think I'll get Kun and Jimi instead

    Positive comments from Wilder here:

Could be a bit of rotation but Lundstram seems to have responded well to the challenge anyway - might give him one more week and ship out Kelly for Boly instead.

That article hints at something I heard on podcast during week that worried me though
He is making big contract demands which has not gone down well with Wilder.......either way it now seems getting a full 60 minutes out of him for their upcoming run which should include a few clean sheets is going to be a problem

The heart says Kun but the head says plan for the blank as I already have kdb
Will probably do Kelly to one of the Sheffield defenders so that I have a playing defensive sub now that he's lost his place

They also have that blank though
I might also have to do a boring defensive sub too
Although I am getting increasingly tempted by firmino
    Worries about rotation though

Two free transfers. Thinking Mane and Vardy out for Son and Firmino. Selling Vardy is scary though.

I think I am going to stick with my original idea of Mahrez and Vardy to Traore and Kun.

I think Kun will be back for West Ham given the two week break after, and despite Sterling's injury Mahrez may well be dropped.

It would not surprise me to see a front 3 of Kun, Jesus and Bilva/KDB.

    This!

Was heading to the WC thread at 2pm yesterday but, despite only having 3 players score more than 3 points, I still haven’t hit the button.

Basically, I’m not sure what I’d change. If Vardy and Mane are fit my team looks ok, if not great, for next week.

I tend to agree with your predicted front three and am worried about Mahrez.
Planned on keeping Vardy (and Mane). Have 2fts.

My bus team looks ok with home games for Ryan, Stephens and Holgate this week but it might finally be time to get in some type of Sheffield United defensive representation.

So no idea what to do yet.

Noble to one of Traore or Barnes. Slipping down the rankings over the last few GWs so leaning towards Barnes as a differential at 1.3% ownership (v Traores 21.1%)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,655 ✭✭✭✭machiavellianme

Mahrez out for Son. I think I've gotten the best out of Mahrez and a team with him, KdB and Kun just seems like overkill, especially with GW 28 on the horizon.
Also need to drop Grealish for Adama on a hit as an enabler but that's OK given their respective fixtures.

Team is a mess prob should wildcard but gonna sit tight bring Ings in for maupay (worst buy ever) and wait how the next 2 weeks pans out. I was gonna bring pope out 3 weeks ago the he has produced so sometimes better to be patient.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 48,254 ✭✭✭✭km79

Just watching MOTD now whilst also looking at WC team
    Grealish was excellent again
May as well hold off now and go with Aguero as planned
That will leave me with 3 city 2 sheff united 1 villa and kelly most likely with no game in 28
So I will surely WC next week......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,081 ✭✭✭GetWithIt

Problem with Grealish is that he’s got no one to assist

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,355 ✭✭✭Porthallian

Anyone thinking of getting Bergwijn? Might replace Maddison with him, his forms gone down the toilet

He will prob go for me after the spurs game BUT if he wasn't blanking in 28 I would keep him. Really struggling to see alternatives at that price

    Have you BBed?
If not do you see a chance in GW26 or GW27 if you forego Kun and take one hit max?

Only one I might be interested in is Harvey Barnes. Just had a look there, Grealish will only blank in 31 too if Newcastle win their next 2 Cup games. We'll know on Tuesday if they win the first one. If they get knocked I'll probably just bench him for 28.
