    Full, happy, planning next few months: some travel, some time off work (woohoo) more training and some reading.

    @Mam of 4/Widdershins thanks for the reminder of Birdsong, that's one of my all time favourite books and now I want to reread it. Fabulous book, been years now. Ever notice that sometimes if you leave long enough between rereads, a really meaningful book becomes different (because you are).

    Hospital side with my Dad,got a call yesterday afternoon to come in for a pre op assessment, we came in at 7.45 and he is being done now, no one else here yet so we definitely beat the queues.Ive a very busy day ahead but we might fit a quick breakfast in if we get out of here in an hour or so...omg the paperwork is unreal, poor nurses must be sick ot it.

    Don't laugh now but there's a basket on a table in the corner here in the waiting room and a sign on it says "All patients please take sample bottle "....I genuinely thought it was a freebie like a little hand sanitizer or something so went over to get one...its urine sample bottles, christ I'm definitely still half asleep lol.

    I'm dying for a coffee.
