I love Porter cake, you're making me have a craving, I haven't had any cake this week.
I'm watching snooker, is it me or has snooker gotten really boring lately, I'm nearly tempted to switch to the late late show........... Just nearly.

The alco pop I remember best was the bottles of mudshake or mudslide, into a pint glass with brandy, maybe baileys, and you've got very dangerous chocolate milk

Reclining on the bed with tea, contemplating having a smoker's relapse.

On the couch with a take away.

I’m gonna regret this tomorrow when I have to work it off, but I’m enjoying it now.

I've found the darts and the snooker to be painful recently tbh.

Someone enlighten me what Porter Cake is, please? :pac:

Some things are still a mystery to me even after almost eight years in this country...

Deskside, buried up to my shoulders in OneNote. Inspiration has struck for a new blog post!

Good luck trying to figure me out. I haven't managed that myself yet!

Porter cake is made of flour, sugar, mixed peel, cherries, sultanas, sugar and a bucket of Guinness :D

I remember from my youth the babycham and snowball. As I go into my teens I drank bulmers for a while, my father and others parents would come in to our local where we'd be playing pool, we all would be having bulmers. They'd think we were having cidona.
Pat, the local owner would never tell on us and if our parents offered to buy us a drink he'd put up cidonas.
    Great old times.

I remember my youthful drinking days involved PERNOD, didn’t really get into drinking beer until my 20’s.
