Being there for a friend when they went through a difficult time but getting very little in return when I'm struggling myself.
    *crossface*

    Been there Perse!

Listened to her for hours on the phone when some dude didn't call/broke up etc...her personal life was abit of a train wreck to be fair!

Then when my relationship ended.....well I can see his point :o and that was as much sympathy as I got!!!

Yeah the friendship fizzled after that :)

You know I'm actually wondering if she said it as a hint to her customers since she knew that some are friends with her on facebook. Like she has the cheek to think that people might get her something else then. I wouldn't be surprised if she's brazen enough to say something like that.

Like... jewelry? A new car? Seriously, what is she expecting... :pac:

Was in a shop earlier on the hunt for xmas presents, and there was a whole section of the floor specifically for clearance items which had been marked down, but the isle which had particular items I was interested in were not labeled with the clearance price. Not a bother. I went to the till and the woman told me they haven't been marked down yet and she doesn't know when they would be either. So as I was on my way back to the clearance Isle a manager appeared. I asked him when does he thinks the items on the entire one side of the aisle will be marked down, and he says to me December 21st. ...............Why the fck would you have an entire aisle in a clearance section that are due to be marked down in 5 days  wtf

The cynic in me thinks that they want people to pick the item up thinking its marked down and then at the till they notice that its not marked down and either say fck it and just buy the item or if a person is buying multiple items they wouldn't even notice.

    ggrrrrrrrr

Not being able to figure someone out. At least if you could figure them out you could say “oh, they’re doing this because x...” but nope. When you can’t figure them out you’re left wondering about their actions

Well this morning is off to a great start for me, first I forgot to take the tea from the back seat and put into the cup holder in front next to me, so now my back seats are covered in tea. Second, I forgot to take a fork with me to work so now I have to eat my pasta with a soup spoon. And thirdly, I forgot to wash an apple last night and bring it to work

Women wearing really overpowering perfume, especially during the day. I am by no means an expert, but I can generally tell by sniffing a perfume if I can wear it to the office or would be better to keep it for a night out or whatever. Since I got pregnant, my sense of smell and incidences of migraine have both increased, and heavy perfume really brings them on. I seem to keep getting stuck with people wearing such scents and I can feel my head starting to pound unless I get away from them and get some fresh air. Also TA how the Luas now poses more hazards than ever - people coughing and sneezing all over the place. No seats to be found. A very heavily pregnant woman was left standing yesterday on the tram I was on. What hope have I at 18 weeks? :p TA being at the "is she fat or is she pregnant" stage :pac::pac::pac:

I'm usually very pro-Christmas but I do not need a bunch of children squawking out Christmas carols in Tesco and blocking the exits on my lunchbreak.

Ah I didn't mind so much about the seat, it was getting pushed out of the way that irked me.

I'm a size 6-8 frame, second pregnancy (most women are alot bigger on their 2+ pregnancies) so fairly obvious the bump was baby!!!

I may or may not have have wished a horrible pregnancy on her in my head :o hormones are awful :D

I'm annoyed with......TIME....or more the fact of how quick it goes.
Sitting here inside in work and reminiscing of being younger and me and my siblings playing on my dad's back during the summer, only feels like yesterday. In the blink of an eye it's gone from having a strong dad who played with us to a frail father who we now look after.
My parents are living by themselves now, gone are the days of they having 7 children with them and the home been a hive of energy. It seems to have happened in a blink of an eye.I grew up with 5 sisters and 1 brother in a 3 bedroomed house, laughs...fights...tears...but 9 of us always there, now we very rarely spend time together, our own families have taken us over but it doesn't stop me from thinking of the great family time we had when we were younger and sometimes wishing we could go back to those times.
I'm 48 now and before people tell me I'm still young I know that but that does not stop the time going too fast. I've 3 chicks and when I look at photos from a few years ago I can't stop thinking of how the time is flying. I'm watching my chicks getting older and I'm dreading the time where I can't carry them on my back, hence I'm always messing and playing with them, cos I dread the day when I look at them and realise I'm not able too anymore. It's not right that it's going to fast.

    Dam you Time!

Apologies for the rant folks...move along now.

I know how you feel I started a thread on the exact same topic a few month......no, must have been last....eh.....no, I was sure it was just there a little while.........oh, it was 12 years ago

Once heard a "rotund" lady asked if she was pregnant

Her reply "Not unless I have been fcucked by Mr.Kipling....and yes ! It was exceedingly good !"

    Classy respond I thought ......

When you’re stuck behind the slowest driver in history and think “ah it’s okay. I’ll be turning right here in a second and be rid of them”. And the second you have that thought they indicate right. Every time. EVERY TIME.

And another driver related TA. I was coming home from town earlier, down country roads and there was heavy fog and I couldn’t see for dust. There was a car directly in front of me so I just said I’d follow them. I knew there was a left turn that I needed to take coming shortly so when they indicated left I followed them on the turn. Turns out they were turning into their house and I only realised this when I was half way in their drive way.
