What's it like trying to get a taxi after a gig in Marlay park?

Bit of a pain really. You’ll need to walk a good bit or be real lucky.

Nightmare but if you walk the 20 mins or so down to Nutgrove Avenue via Grange Road you'll be ok.

I'm always amazed how mental folk are about Marlay park. Its 20 minute walk to Luas. Very well connected.

    Crazy prices

Out of curiosity I had a look at the London prices.

Golden Circle is £177.50 ,thats over 210 euro .
    Crazy money.

    True

Would love to go to this but wrong time with other things on. Are July/August disqualified from hosting gigs here??
It's using the same stage and event facilities as Longitude, taking place the following weekend. A standalone gig wouldn't involve much higher costs.

Gosh the presale seems to be selling very badly, you'd think if Slane sold out in a day, this will well, how much does the venue hold?

How do you know its selling badly ?
For all we know MCD will try and sell all 40,000 tickets in the presale .

Slane didnt sell out in a day either ,in fact it never sold out at all.

And then went back on general sale a couple of weeks before the gig and remained available until the day.

Second hand market was also flooded with tickets going cheap as well so I think I'm going to hold off until closer to the day.

hmm its only letting me buy with the €40 nighttrain :(
I tried earlier and it wasn't including it but was waiting on someone else to get back to me

They announced that MCD pre-sale tickets sold out so you'll be able to grab them in general on sale in the morning

Grabbed two tickets there, had to search a few times as it kept giving me golden circle tickets and I'm not paying 160 quid.

Might not sell out straight away but it will probably sell out or almost sell out eventually.

Do you mean that you hope the gig doesn't sell out, so that people will have the opportunity to buy the tickets after Christmas?
