I recall flying from Atlanta to Shannon on a Delta B777 200 some years ago and the screen was showing a ground speed of 750mph. I think it was the fastest speed I've ever travelled at. It was pretty choppy too as I recall.

12.15. There's a Norwegian 737MAX8 in the air heading from Helsinki to Copenhagen. IBK9HU. Seems to be staying at FL180. REG is EI-FYG.

EDIT: Strange. The Flt. No. has changed en route to D88921. Managed to get to FL190.

FR24 says it's flying with flaps down to disable MCAS.

It's the same as the Icelandair max aircraft that transited through Shannon recently, all 4 had to stay at fl190 for the entire flight.

UAL2768 B767-300 MAN to ORD squawking 7700 over the North West coast. Now heading directly south towards SNN.

Apparently the same aircraft diverted to MAN yesterday with a suspected fuel leak

Read elsewhere crew only on board and a fuel leak again. Expensive day or two for United.

Also an expected fuel leak in Nov-19 going BRU - ORD had to turn back to SNN just after hitting the Atlantic.

Just flew over me heading East from SNN ... not sure if it landed at SNN ... great looking 727

easyJet plane just left Cork for Manchester. Bit of a WTF, but seems to have been en route from Tenerife to MAN and was diverted to Cork.
