Tesla is to unveil their newest vehicle tonight at 11pm EST, which is 4am here in Ireland. Hopefully there will be a live feed on the Tesla website.
For those of you who don't know the Cybertruck is rumoured to be a sub $50,000 pick-up truck. Its mainly aimed at the US market where pick-ups are a very lucrative segment for manufacturers.

Yeah it's a bit too early in the morning for me, I expect my timelines to be full tomorrow.
Hopefully will be a good challenge for the Ford F150 which sells about ~75,000 vehicles a month.
More numbers for that and other trucks here:

Well, it stands out at least. He said he doesn't care if people don't like it! Starts at $39,900.

    God I love Tesla.
"we're going to bring out a pickup" Everyone thinks F150.
Tesla " hold my beer" moment
    What a mad looking yoke.
I want that quad bike too.

And whats the range towing 3 tonnes exactly?? Throwing out range figures on a work vehicle without loading it is a waste of time.

It's like the car Homer invented.

That's amazingly bad. I'm not sure if he's serious with that. It's looks like some prop car (that'd be in the far, far background) from some 1990s sci-fi movie.

I'm being 100% serious here; Is this a joke, or a publicity stunt?

I thought it was a placeholder design when I saw the reveal

Does not look like it, Elon and Franz are current flaying the poor engineer who fitted the non Magic Cyber Glass.

Charging your ATV in the back of it is genius, he just launched 2 new products, dirt bikes and jet skis to follow no doubt.
If you could slam it with the air suspension it would be pretty cool looking.

    Disappointing.

Tesla have shown they can do MUCH better then this styling wise.

Open goal for VW to develop something nicer then this in my opinion.

Will get the tri motor version in 2022

Elon wasn't lying when he said that the design will be polarising. I think it's really cool especially the stainless steel but I suspect that Tesla has created a real coal rolling target now and on purpose too.

Well done ELM for ordering one. I'm tempted too tbh.

I just think it's hilarious looking.
100 quid for a couple of years to decide (and pay off some of my model S loan!) is fair enough IMO.

Definitely not a fan. Looks like something from Half Life.

How do Tesla (and other car companies keep) the appearance of this a secret until launch?
There must be a large number of people involved in its production, plus designs, drawings, sketches, photos.
    How does nothing get leaked?

Everyone working there believes in the company and the message.
Either that and/or Elon is able to get buy in from everyone to not spill the beans beforehand

    I like the great reveals
