    Eh?

    Don’t mind him.

He still is trying to find other ways to occupy himself outside the laptop in a full employment Ireland.

I've tried to cut out most of the rubbish.

Show me anything in socialist/marxist teaching which talks about pay without work. All Socialist economic theory talks about fair pay for labour of the worker.

I've been to Cuba under Castro and the health system and education was incredible. Everyone had a house and access to welfare, I have never seen a more healthy and well educated people.
However, everyone was expected to work to gain these benefits.

There were people who didn't want to work and they lived on the streets.

The idea that we should give benefits to people who refuse to work is not a socialist concept.
Firstly Norman, its a shame that you decided not to take my reply in the light-hearted spirit of my intent, and instead decided to dismiss any expression of solidarity in favour of entrenching your own presumptions about strangers whom you do not know.

Secondly, nobody here has posited that remark - which you nevertheless wish to rebuke. That's your imagined view of what we are saying, in spite of the clear words repeated here to the contrary.

The point is not so much that everyone deserves a house, or 'free money', whatever that is, it is that everyone is equally deserving of a level of dignity and respect which are manifestly and categorically denied under a capitalist system of economic governance.

In short, Margaret Cash is Not The Problem.

I don't care where you went on your holidays, or what you think about the laziest of Cubans. Kids are not to be punished for the poor choices of their parents; not under any contemporary socialist approach to human dignity, anyway.

“Free Money” is exactly what it says.

Mrs Cash got money for doing nothing= free money.

    End of.

    You are making zero sense.

The Marxist view of social welfare via direct financial transfers is essentially one of bribery. You don't have to agree, but the idea that socialists believe in unlimited free money is grossly misled. Read your political economy before accusing others of not making sense.

You're right, the kids are not at fault for their parents.
The parents should not be rewarded and the kids should be given a fair crack at at life .

Therefore Maggie shouldn't be allowed to have 7 kids that she can't look after properly. If she did have kids she can't look after, then the kids should be adopted out to people who can look after them.

She wouldn't be having them in the first place if it wasn't economically advantageous to be doing so.

Do You not get this? The system is at fault so the system needs to be changed.

    7 fcukin kids??

Wonder what their school attendance is like.

Fcuk me 7 kids. All being maintained for free. While travellers push in our face how loaded they are when it comes to weddings and funerals.

    No wonder people are angry!

Marx believed in fair pay for work. You should be paid the actual value of your work

He also believed in no pay for no work.

You are off the mark. I believe you don't have clue

That depends on how your PRSI is charged, but a concise answer would be one fewer than Miriam O'Callaghan (no disrespect to either woman), mother of eight.

At least Miriam does a bit of work

Does cash really have a horse outside?

How many people would be willing to offer work to a traveller with a criminal record?

I love to hear a reasonable Betty Crocker solution that some head-the-balls seem to believe exists.

Break up a family of seven kids and put them into state care?

Or try to provide some level of family integrity and compassion for a pretty horrific situation?

I wonder how many posters here were advocating "Love Both" in the recent past.

I know animal welfare standards can be low in this country but is this legal?

It's her own fault she has a criminal record...

You don't see the difference between Miriam O'Callaghan and Margaret Cash?

I'll give you a clue, one has worked and paid taxes all her life, the other has never worked a day in her life and claims she is being robbed.

I am referring to her young children. Some of whom will probably be reading this thread in the not-too-distant-future.

Not if she can remove them from school before their minds become corrupted by literature!

I hope your kids won't be reading this thread because they'd be embarrassed for you if they had any sense.

Isn't it weird that all recent immigrants into Ireland - by that I mean African People, Eastern European people, Muslims, Asians, Italians, Spanish etc etc).....never complain about not being able to find a job in our country.

Yet our native people feel discriminated against when it comes to finding jobs...What a racist country we are when we give all our jobs to foreigners and not our own eh
