Just wondering if the "S" a licence specific to the gun attached to the licence or can the silencer be used on another gun licenced to the same person if the silencer is suitable.

License specific as far as I know. Otherwise you'd apply for it separately.

You can use one suppressor on multiple firearms so long as each firearm license has the "S" on it.

You can have one suppressor for each firearm so long as each firearm license has the "S".

If you have (example) three (3) firearms but only one (1) of your license(s) has the "S" on it then you may only use the suppressor on the firearm to which that license applies.

So in short you may only use a suppressor on a firearm to which you are licensed/authorised via the "S" on the certificate.
