Came out this morning and saw that someone hit and scratched my wing mirror.

Then in the way to my appointment in Limerick, the tyre pressure monitor kept popping up saying a tyre was losing pressure. All the garages on the way didn’t have an air pump to check it. Made it to Limerick and when I got out after my appointment, one of the tyres was fully flat. Had to figure out how the repair kit worked which was niggly and awkward but eventually did the job.

I have one spoon of sugar in every coffee I drink, and I have three coffees every day.

That means I have 21 spoons of sugar every week just in my coffee.

That's an absolutely ludicrous 1,096 spoons of sugar a year I ingest, just to make my coffee taste nice.

If I could simply drop the sugar in my coffee, this stupid belly I'm developing would surely be fairly reduced.

But coffee's gross without sugar, and delicious with it. And I'm unquestionably addicted to it.

So, that's all a bit annoying, isn't it?

You are my TA for pointing this out! I have 5 cups most days.

    This.
know people like their personal space and all that, but it's hard to tell whether you lot are in a queue or just hanging around. I'm always tempted to go to the "top" of these "queues". I suspect that people would then recognise that they are, actually, in a queue.

Just gradually cut it down over a couple of weeks.
Even if you got it down to 1/2 a spoon that would be half the sugar you'd be ingesting.
Having said that. it's not that much sugar.

Tried half spoonfuls today. Gross, alas.

No, it's not a huge amount of sugar on it's own. But it's on top of the sugar in my fairly normal diet, and it doesn't need to be.

    Gradually, not in one go.

Try cutting down to two cups or to three smaller cups and use a smaller spoon every day??
It would probably take quite a while but I'm sure it could be done.

I slowly got out of the habit of sugar in tea/coffee .. in doing so, my "need" for sugary add ons to having a cup dwindled. Less biscuits as well.

I was the same so I switched coffee, douwe and egberts pure gold doesn't seem as bitter. Also switched to a very small bit of honey as a substitute. Honey is probably more fattening than sugar but it wasn't a weight issue with me. Also I now can taste all the sugar in foods

    As she says herself

I have no interest in her tbh. Just the ubiquitous pictures annoy me.

Had a weird shimmery thing in my right eye all morning that has turned into a whopper headache. Supposed to be going for a couple of drinks this evening for my niece's and bro-in-law's birthdays but I'm not fit to go anywhere. Don't even have any painkillers in the house :(

Sounds like a migraine, D. My ex used to get them a lot, lying down in a dark room always helped.

I kind of thought that but I've always heard that migraines render you pretty much incapable of doing anything whereas I'm able to sit here reading quietly so I presumed it was just a really bad headache. Going to go up and have a bath with the blinds closed shortly. Feeling very sorry for myself indeed.

Sounds worse than a migraine, a cluster headache.

Sounds like a migraine. I get them on occasion. Fit for nothing when I have them. The shimmery thing might have been a sign it was on the way.

I'm not a doctor, shocking right? but if it is a migraine the reading won't help you. Enjoy the bath!

A proper migraine will really knock you on your ass. What your describing sounds like the “buildup” to one.

If you get a “blur” in the middle of your vision try get into a dark room and lie down for a bit. Not sure if you can still get it but “Migraleve” is a great painkiller for them.

I’ve only gotten two “proper” migraines in my life and I hope to never get one again.

No need for that with myself and Emmet here. We may specialise in fecal matters but our knowledge is not limited to that end ;)

Told one of my friends about the breakup as she was asking how himself was. Since then she’s tried to set me up with her boyfriends friends, keeps asking if I’m okay and is talking about deleting him as a friend. Do whatever, just stop talking to me about it

Could it be an Ocular Migraine Dial Hard ?

Yes, also known as a migraine with aura I think. I get them, though not too often thankfully. It starts with colourful zig zags moving across my line of vision for about half an hour. I will remember then that in previous days that I have been extremely hungry and peeing a lot. I don't actually get much of a headache but would be exhausted for days after it.

TA, I didn't want to eat before yoga as my stomach would rattle. Came home starving and inhaled a plate of reheated pasta, way too late to be eating :(

Break ups are hard. Take care of yourself and I know violence is never the answer but I'm sending your friend digital kicks up the hole on your behalf x

I’m taking it well, but she keeps talking about it, asking if I want to get back together with him and saying “oh maybe he’ll change his mind”
