That was a wonderful start by Ireland. If they do more of this for the rest of the match. I would say that thinking of places for new players on the seats for Japan is a very real possibility today if they keep this up. Joe is doing good here with his tactics so far but I don't know how Wales will respond to Ireland's progress as we go through the later stages of it.

Feel bad for last week's players. Wales arent even at 10% of the speed and aggression England played at.

Much easier for this Irish team to play against and they're looking leagues more organised, sharp and dangerous because of it.

    Quite content with this performance

Reckon Joe must of gave the whole squad a massive bollocking during the week

That came very close to Farrell messing that all up.

Yeah what was he thinking running a support line to a player on the break. Tut tut.

    This is a fair point.

    There maybe something in this.

Last week's XV broadly new they were all going to Japan. The same can't be said for many of this week's side. In terms of motivation that may be a bit of a factor

Completely different levels of intensity today but the players look a lot sharper all the same

Conan very quiet, Carthys tackling is excellent, Aki doing a lot of work, Addison having a rusty start

Can't see Larmour making the plane.

Addison, Conway and Farrell are all competing with him for only one or two spots.

You'd have to think Jordan Larmour is getting nervous watching this.

Or they’ve had a normal week of match preparation rather than having just returned from a preseason beasting camp

You might want to watch the game to be honest.

Wales miles in from the side at the previous ruck. Justice served!

Stockdale is the Kevin Keegan Newcastle of Rugby. Concedes two, scores six.
