Jesus, yet another thread has descended into absolute tedium. There should be a limit on how often someone can post in a single thread.

No you can't. You could charged.

Are you trying to tell me a parent can't hold a running child back from the road or lift her and hold her against her will? Please enlighten us with another of your informative links

Well you can't even restrain them now. It would be illegal. So you don't worry.

of course you can restrain children.
how would you keep them in a car seat or pushchair?

Ah here. Those quotes you are stating need context.

That was about a just-turned two year old boy who they were toilet training.(very early to toilet train-another day's argument). He recommended a number of other ways to deal with the problem in addition to cleaning. He said "some parents recommend" cold water showering...he did not actually recommend it as a solution himself. And he noted that it is a common and yuck problem.

I seriously doubt he would advocate deliberate cold showering of a toddler as a solution.Anyone who has toilet trained kids knows that it just doesn't work that way.

Show me were it's illegal to place a struggling child into a car seat or buggy against its will.

Anyway, I thought long gone are the days were we tried to traumatise the bad behaviour out of children. It’s something I thought almost everyone was on the same page about but judging by this thread there are clearly some purveyors of harsh treatment for children. At that age, positively enforcing behavioural changes is the only way it should be done. If this isn’t heeded then professional help should be sought to see are there any underlying issues at play. I read elsewhere that this poor kid is fearful of showers in general now. Well done parents, remove one negative behaviour by introducing another. Slow clap. I wonder how they’ll punish her out of that one.
Never liked this family to begin with due to how they shill out the most precious and vulnerable years of their children’s lives for views.

At least shell out for some lemonade if you absolutely have to supersoak your kids.

Dr. Jordan Sherry of Trinity would tell you the same.

So his comments weren't even in the context of a child enaging in fecal smearing and ingesting, but a child who was struggling with toilet training having accidents?

It doesn't take an expert or a genius to notice those two scenarios are worlds apart.

ILYV is being EXTREMELY disengeneous by misrepresenting those comments to support her own agenda.

Ahhhhhh ffs.......................what kind of painful rubbish has yet another thread descended into?

Every thread is going like this, till people just shut off and can't bear any more ****e talk.

    It's ruining boards.

Every thread is like an AMA Ask me Anything with one poster.

Or rather ITYE (I'll Tell You Everything (whether you want me to or not))
