Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I take a healing potion and tie it around my neck with a string.

I then check the quality of the longbows, daggers and any rapiers that might be there on the off-chance that there might be better than the run of the mill standard stock I am carrying.

Finally I pick through the barrels of arrows selecting the best quality I can find and restock my quiver. (20)

A little gnome hands over the equipment with a smile on his face.

'Healing potion, yes that's definitely what we stock here.'

    The bottle is pink.

The weapons are pretty basic, no better or worse than what NukLok currently has on his possession.

The gnome pulls out a book and quill.

    'Sign here, 50 credits.'

Star feels much refreshed after his bathe and swim.
He head back up towards the tavern.

On entering the tavern, he seeks out the elf he spotted and if they are here, he will join their company, if not, he will sit at any table with an abundance of food, if no table has an abundance of food, he will just sit anywhere.

The main table around which just Nyshamyla now sits has food on it, bread, roast beef, and a jug of ale left over from the rest of the party's meal. Nyshamyla's plate has half a roast pheasant on it as well.

    No sign of the elf.

In the barracks there is a small trading post. There are a variety of small bottles of liquid, available for purchase with credits from the meagre salary recruits are provided with. A number of weapons hang from the back of the ramshackle hut as well. Daggers, short swords, bows and arrows.

OOC: If you want any equipment you can sign for it and it will be taken out of your salary

Ooc: i assume we have or character equipment on board or do we have to sign out equipment in this one?

Hom, observes the activity around him and grunts, amused by the whispering amongst those in his company and attempts to garner tid bits of information from messangers. "See Goblin, stick Goblin" he mutters to himself. Hom doesn't like to share his tobacco.

He glances impatiently at the tavern for the captain and their orders, instantly regretting the lack of food in his stomach as the smell of cooked meat hits his nostrils again. He searches for some rations from his pack and finding he's out, he makes his way to the barracks in search of field rations and to fill his water skin before the captain comes with their instructions for the day.

When she chuckles and spreads her arms open in way of offering he doesn’t hold back as he takes the roast beef in both hands and begins ripping it apart chunk by chunk with his teeth. He devours the rest of the food on the table in much the same fashion.

Star spots the ale and pours it into his mouth so fast it spills down his face and onto his armour. With a loud belch he wipes his mouth with his sleeve and sits back happily after his feast.

Nyshmayla watches on impressed by what she has just witnessed thinking “I thought I was the savage around here, I like this one” with a small grin.

Though she enjoyed the mischief which unfolded in front of her, she decides to take her leave and position herself near the smelter.

As she approaches the door, she waves her hand (thaumaturgy) and slams open the door as she takes her leave.

Shaadyx, quietly keeping to himself, shuffles to the smelter. Having meet his new colleagues, he seems less positive about the mission than had he been alone.

Somehow he can't shake that niggle in the back of his mind that there's a setup of some description ahead of their party.

Hom eyes the vial suspiciously, but is anxious of the company waiting on him. He grabs the vial and mutters "I'll see you again Gnome", on his way out the door.

He makes his way to the smelter munching on his rations and informs Nuklok of the Gnomes slight of hand with the supposed health potion and to be weary of it. He's a bit chirpier now as he's full.

Calippo approaches the (seemingly) meditating elf near the smelter.

As she approaches, she ensures her footsteps get louder, to prevent the elf from being caught off-guard and jumping her.

She did notice the Elf's temper earlier, when confronted with the banjo and the half-ling. She is not taking any chances.

"I am not sure the reigning royalties would agree with the assessment, but I thank you kindly anyway." she continues.

As the party relax and converse at the smelter, they look up to see Captain Hemsworth striding with purpose from the barracks.

Clad in custom plate armour with one shoulder free, he carries a monstrous war hammer. Though it seems ordinary folk would struggle to lift it, he carries it in one hand with ease.

    thorhammer-ft.jpg

As he reaches the smelter it is clear he is in military mode, and he looks around to see if all of the party are present. He lets out a loud, sharp shout:

    'Patrollers, Assemble!'

"Its not about the size of the hammer, its all about your ability to clobber". She thinks to herself as she is sizing up the Captain.
