Cheerleaders are cannon fodder for gropers, it's practically in the job description - well back then certainly. Hard to make too much of that other than Trump would lie about anyone or anything at anytime to anyone.

This is a nothing burger. Trump has nothing to fear from this. He actually helped with the investigation.

I don’t understand why you think that vagueness on the year is strange. I once had an verbal altercation with Ric Ocasek in a McDonalds parking lot 25-30 years ago when he claimed I cut in line in the drive thru. His supermodel wife broke things up before the situation escalated. Although it was memorable I don’t remember exactly when it happened... only generally the years ago it happened.
