Think I posted this somewhere in the old thread, but worth posting again, seeing as Gallows & Anderson have re-signed with WWE.

Fightful.com has put together an index of wrestler's contracts expiration dates spanning across WWE, AEW, NJPW, ROH, IMPACT, and LU respectively.

Is it ***NO CHAT*** or "no chat"?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 30,748 ✭✭✭✭CastorTroy

Makes sense, Gallows is 35 and Anderson is 39 and has 4 kids

    And a hot asian wife.

Does seem they're signing a lot of the lower card guys to 5 year deals lately

Stephanie's contract as an on air talent expires in October. Purely for the joy of watching the reaction I would really love it if she somehow was signed by AEW. It would be lots of fun to see.

Moxley donated 5k to the family of a deceased wrestler whose house burned down because the guy was friends with the guy that trained Moxley at the beginning of his career.

Moxley was far too good of a human being for WWE.

I'm annoyed at myself for even biting but what about all the people doing charity who work for WWE? All twats, I presume?

IF WWE do any charity work there's a 20 minute self congratulatory segment on Raw about it.

I personally think this is why Cena is pretty much done with the company now.

His Make-A-Wish stuff is record breaking but he seems to not have allowed WWE to make a big deal of it. Another guy who is far too classy for these horrible money-grubbing ****s.

And the stuff wrestlers do off their own bat? Sami for Syria, for instance. Jericho has helped many by donating to numerous Go Fund Mes, plenty of which I'm sure are from his WWE tenure. Cena, hundreds of make-a-wishes. Plus countless other wrestlers who probably do stuff on their own time.

Also, just because WWE publicise their work with Conor's Cure, Make-a-wish and others doesn't mean it's without merit or worthy of mention. Publicity helps these charities too.

That "too good of a human being for WWE" is such a stupid remark.

They've never promoted Sami's stuff have they? It's the corporate charity that's so blatant in it's marketing value that's the issue. Nothing with wrestlers themselves doing stuff. Warrior award was meant to be for the people behind the scenes, WWE made it about big charities and getting themselves mainstream publicity out of it.

They didn't promote Sami's thing because he wouldn't work any of the Blood Money shows.

Anyone who finds negatives in raising money for charity or bringing dying kids happiness is someone I believe should ask themselves the question "have I become a very cynical person"?

I don't care if WWE/McDonalds/Starbucks etc... do charity work for publicity they still do it and they do huge amounts of it. Kids with terminal cancer and their families get to smile, laugh and meet their heroes. I don't care if it's for publicity or not, it happens and it is a great thing.

Look at yourself before you run others down. How many dying kids are you helping?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,585 ✭✭✭Jerichoholic

Yeah, nobody is denying it's a good thing, but the way they do it is the same as those reptiles on youtube who film themselves giving food to homeless people for likes.

God lads we get it, WWE are evil incarnate and AEW is awesome and can do no wrong.

It gets a bit fcuking tiring listening to the same sh1te dribbled on every single thread though.

Literally nobody mentioned AEW. So that's a bit tiring too now.

It all rings hollow when you realise that it is being used as a promotional tool.

They donated €1,000,000 to a children's hospital. The money specifically be used to treat children with high-risk neuroblastoma, a very aggressive form of cancer that is most commonly found in children under 5. And a support room for the child's family will be built so they can be close to the child without being exposed to radiation.

When you make very stupid and foolish comments like the one I have quoted you out yourself as nothing more than someone who is clearly trolling which is why I will be ignoring you from now on.

If that actually happens Alberto Del Rio will be hurt very badly.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,669 ✭✭✭✭johnnyryan89

I'd say it's more just something to drum up publicity. Del Rio hasn't fought in MMA for a long time and think he's involved with this promotion behind the scenes.

Weren't Enzo and Cass meant to be in roh? With that whole run in they did.

Surely Moxley donating that money to charity is just self promotion then?
