Great thread, fair play to all....

I joined late but can't believe Golden Crisp won. Indeed a golden crisp circa 1990 might be worthy of a quarter final place but not a winner.

How did the duty free giant tolberone fare in the contest? Because that to me, straight outta the fridge with a cup of tea is the business.

No idea, a national disgrace. I've no doubt there will be a tribunal about it in years to come.

Boost won and obviously that's wrong when we all know Toblerone should have. When will people learn? Democracy doesn't work!

Great thread. Never realized I had such a depth of knowledge on chocolate bars.
I don’t know what to do with the rest of my day now :/

Close the thread now before it gets spoilt further with crisp comments!

Would you believe it's a tie?!?! A poxy draw!!!

15 minutes overtime. Vote again if you want, it will still count. Vote if you haven't already done so. Winner takes all.

Yum. Although their ads with the "feisty chicks" talking about the bloke who was really "fit" are a turnoff.

Toblerone fell at the first hurdle. It was in a 3 way match though. Initially I had 32 bars (good tournament number) but then I start remembering bars that I couldn't leave out, so added them to the last five or six matches. So we still had 32 matches but the extra entries had to be accommodated in the triple threat bouts.

Some ones I neglected to put in were Milka (a fave of mine), Fruit & Nut, Crunch, Catch and a few others like Kit Kat Chunky and other spin offs. Was still great fun doing it though. Proper After Hours sh*te talk and nobody blamed a Muslim or a Traveller or an immigrant.

    Total travesty.
Would never give a second glance to either of the finalists when surveying the choccy rack.
So many better options were there..
Showing my age,but does anyone remember Texans or Cabanas?

The 10c Macaroon bars back in the day were delish.

Now they're more like 50-80 cent Macaroon bars and they ain't that fooking nice.

Wild Saturday night in my gaff.

Anyone else think this could be an ingenious marketing campaign by Cadbury? I got the last two Boost in my local shop, which I’m 100% contributing to this thread #influenced.

They’re about half the size they used to be though :(
