Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DAB (Dead and Buried) will never reach Waterford, or indeed anywhere it doesn't already exist. It's the betamax of radio.

Surely you'd check before buying something like that? :)

DAB stopped about 7 years ago.

I used to listen to it all the time in Waterford.

It's just a useless button on my stereo now!

Pretty sure DAB is now only broadcast in Dublin Limerick and Cork. They gave up on it a couple of years ago in trailing it in other places.

That was a trail relay by Total Broadcast Solutions with a view to a licence but nothing came of it.

Massive in the UK, about 50% of radio accessed is thru digital. They will probably switch over completly in the future and do away with AM/FM

Then we will follow suit 15 years later. :D

There is hardly any appetite here to change over so i doubt we will see any moment for a long time.

Doubt it, seems we are backing a different horse - internet radio probably be more of a thing here what with running fibre to the door of every shanty in the land regardless of the cost.
